October is gonna be a pretty brutal month, the four big games being released there will probably all sell well, but any other game would bomb pretty hard there.

You don't really have to. Just pick the time setting period you like the most and go with that.

Assassin's Creed peaked with the Ezio games anyway. Nowadays I just pick and choose depending on the time period setting since they're all almost the same.

Personally, I was hoping this was coming out next year. Assassin's Creed on a 2 year cycle I think can work well. But every year is what people got burned out on the series in the 1st place. & the quality of the game suffered upon release.

Hopefully this doesn't feel like a copy & paste of Origins.
