So Mario Maker 2 in June, Fire Emblem and Marvel Ultimate Alliance in July, Astral Chain in August, Zelda in September, Pokemon Sword and Shield in November and both Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing still accounted for (possibly October/Halloween and December/before Christmas).

(not counting games Nintendo publishes like DxM and Town)

That's some lineup.

September is going to be BUSY. I'll probably still be playing Astral Chain and Oninaki. Plus Iceborne is out at the start of the month which will suck up all of my time.

I'm guessing Luigi's Mansion 3 is October then.
It could also have been November or early December, wedged in between Death Stranding, Star Wars, Pokemon, Doom and Shenmue. Some of these already should rush towards the escape pods.
September is the best month here.

YES!

I'm surprised that AC didn't get the September slot and Zelda the December slot. That's... worrysome, considering Luigi's Mansion is likely October and Pokemon we know is November. I don't think they'd launch AC in December.

Terrible timing. Means I won't be playing it at launch. :c Cold Steel 3 is getting my love first.

Animal crossing seems to make way more sense for December though surely? Just before Christmas and right after Black Friday.

Very, very awesome! Here's hoping for a small 3D Zelda teaser during the Nintendo Direct! Somehow this early release date for LA made it a bit more likely to me. On the other hand, a VGA December teaser might also be very likely now.

BOYCOTT AMAZON! The surprise is ruined!

They were definitely smart to get this out towards the beginning of the holiday season. This is early enough to have AC release in Nov or late October even. AC is the linchpin title for 2019.
