I know they want to show off reflections but that looked weird as hell.
lol, pretty much
I see the people in charge of the old Radeon box arts took creative lead here.
Not sure if I want to see that.AMD needs to chill on the reflections. I get what they're trying to achieve but lol
They should have worked with MS to show something like Forza or something running with RT on.
Hah I saw your post. Same idea, separated by a few seconds :pOn the one hand, I love it because it reminds me of all those dumb cgi renders they used to put on boxes of video cards.
On the other hand, they should have made something that looked like an actual game or something. I get they want to go crazy showing off the effects but nobody is going to care if it is too ugly to watch.
Exactly!
I thought this was a good troll but its just the truth. Damn.I liked Nvidia's Star Wars demo much more.
EDIT:
Photorealistic realism? Is it 2003 again? Because this looks like some Spy Kids 3D stuff.
they're for all DX12 capable hardwareLook like VRS,Mesh Shaders & Sampler feedback is Series X exclusive ?
just got to that part in the stream. RDNA1 seems like a bad investment nowNot really.
They're available on Nvidia Turing and up, and AMD RDNA2 and up.
Look like VRS,Mesh Shaders & Sampler feedback is Series X exclusive ?
AO, Reflections and shadows. I guess that explains that wonky performance in the video. A good amount of RT there.RT reflections there for sure. I wonder if the shadows are RT, really hard to tell with that 1080p 60 vid feed on yt!
I do not think that was RT, but something else, right? It's so old school it reminds me of those crystal chess and jewels RT demo from forever ago
