Loved Amnesia back in the day, never finished Justine for some reason and I still have A Machine for Pigs sitting on my Steam account. Should I rectify this, Era?

Saw it in the Japan releases on monday, but thought it would be another IP with the same name exclusive to Japan. Guess not !

A Machine for Pigs is not "that bad" or even bad. It's just not really in the same vein as the first game, both structure and scares wise. Still a solid experience.

I'll take this opportunity to post a reminder than in 2011, Day9 (Sean Plott) streamed Amnesia: The Dark Descent and was frightened out of his wits. It's arguably one of the most entertaining playthroughs of any game online and it's all available on YouTube. Here's part 1 -

The developers have been talking about wanting to bring this to Switch as far back as 2017, as well as SOMA.

This is great for Switch users. PS4 has Until Dawn though, and I prefer to keep my horror game collection in one place, so I'll pass on this.

I only completed the first Amnesia, but boy that game gets disturbing story-wise as you delve deeper into the castle.

I guess about halfway through. It just didn't do anything for me. The monster felt more tedious to avoid than scary (I found it to be quite goofy looking too, so that may be why) maybe I go back to it one day, but I doubt it.
