shocking footage. I'm not trying to sound flippant when I say, RIP, but we all know her fate at this point.

"Anastasia Vashukevich who offered info on Deripaska's meddling in the 2016 election for asylum..."

So much for that "asylum" part.

Holy crap that's horrifying to watch, I can only imagine how terrifying that would be.
Yeah, it is utterly horrifying. She's not putting up much of a struggle, either, which has me thinking she was drugged or worse.

I suppose we'll never get to hear those Deripaska recordings she claimed to have.
If she was smart, she set up a way to feed them to U.S. investigators/media in the wake of her death.
Barring a killswitch that will make their lives 10 times worse if they dispose of her, she's completely fucked.

What the fuck. I was thinking she would be sternly accosted out of the airport by some FBI looking dudes. Or arrested or something.

That is a literal fucking kidnapping.

Anastasia Vashukevich, who goes by Nastya Rybka on social media, was deported from Thailand on Thursday after pleading guilty to charges including soliciting prostitution, a Thai immigration official said.
Upon arriving in Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport, Vashukevich was detained on suspicion of enticement into prostitution, state media RIA-Novosti reported.

I'm super confused. She apparently said she does't have any info later and that she wanted to be friends again with Deripaska or something?

But a few months after she tried to bargain for freedom with the United States, Ms. Vashukevich said that she no longer intended to make any material she had public, and had instead sent copies to Mr. Deripaska.
"Now I just want to wait for Oleg's answer," she said last August. "I just want to be friends."
At the Moscow airport on Thursday, Mr. Kirillov's wife said that Ms. Vashukevich had not changed her mind, according to Interfax.
"Nastya has said it more than once and she can say it again," she said. "She's not ready to share any kind of confidential information. She doesn't have any kind of compromising files at all."

Wow they didn't care at all that the camera saw all of that. They want people to know this is what happens if you talk.

If I remember right, she asked for asylum in exchange for her testimony, but no one took her up on her offer. But I could be confusing her for somebody else. There's too many players and too many things to keep track of in this whole wretched affair. I hope for the best in her case, which sad to say, is probably a quick, painless murdering.

Who was the poster that said all of this was delusional and a Tom Clancy Novel for Mom's wine groups? All of this stuff starts to add up. Put the pieces together.

She's a professional grifter. Like, by trade.

While there's a high chance of her getting to hear compromising stuff due to the nature of her work (read: highly paid concubine, friend to many powerful men), there's also the risk of her making shit on the go to avoid her dire prospects after being caught breaking the kind of silence one would expect from her. And she's been rambling incoherently for quite a while.

You are always going to find sketchy characters when you start looking into certain places. That doesn't mean she's lying, but people should use a good measure of salt before asigning credibility to the first person who claims to know the ins and outs of a major conspiracy. She's in a very, very bad situation, the kind that would make most people to say whatever they need to say to get away from it.

Jesus, that video is DARK stuff.

Starts off with her being carried body-bag style and shoved into a wheelchair. She's clearly conscious but super out of it (definitely seems sedated). And then when the inconspicuous wheelchair option is taking too long, they straight up carry her, body-bag style, into the elevator, and prop her up on her feet like "seee?! She's fine. Get that camera out of our faces now."

Jesus.

Wonder what they threatened her with.

Belarusian escort apologizes for saying she had evidence on Russian election meddling

Anastasia Vashukevich made the statement in a Moscow court that was considering whether to keep her in jail as she faces charges of inducement to prostitution. The court extended her detention for three more days.

Vashukevich's statement appears to head off any chance of her speaking to U.S. investigators looking into possible collusion between Russia and President Donald Trump's campaign.
After her arrest she claimed she had audio tapes of Russian tycoon Oleg Deripaska, who is close to President Vladimir Putin, talking about interference in the U.S. election.
She told journalists in the Moscow court that she has apologized to Deripaska and says "I will no longer compromise him."

Been following her story since she posted that stuff a while ago on social media... super sad that this is the end result. =(

End of course this is the type of company Trump wanted to keep. I guess it fits in a sad way. Who knows what Mueller will end up uncovering.

I still don't understand why she chose to fly through Moscow, and not through Kiev or Istanbul. Would be much safer for her.

It was known that she would be detained in Moscow no matter what.

That's not how being forcibly deported works...

The eight members of the group were put on a commercial flight to Moscow from Bangkok on Thursday, Thail immigration chief Lt. General Surachate Hakparn said.
