Like I said in the other thread....at the end of the day my guess is the difference between both will be negligible.
LOL. Jez? Come on dude. Pinello was embarassing himself on gaf last gen.I rather trust Brand Sam, Jez, Klobrille and Penello , thank you.
The Vita UI was one-off.I would hope that Sony doesn't continue their dog shit UI as well
Same place where I land.Like I said in the other thread....at the end of the day my guess is the difference between both will be negligible.
Amen.The Vita UI was one-off.
The PS4 UI, as it stands today, is pretty much perfect.
Of course lolI rather trust Brand Sam, Jez, Klobrille and Penello , thank you.

I think the safest bet right now is 499$.Makes me wonder how expensive these consoles are going to get.

Maybe it's just me but I kinda hope they end up very similar (they likely will) because that should bring an end to all this...well, nonsense really.
Re-listen to their wording. Their emphasis was on having a powerful system which we all believe they will have, but they are not saying the will have the most powerful console like they were with Scorpio.Doubt it. Microsoft has put a ton of emphasis on having the most powerful system.

Ugh. Posts like this is why I don't like posting outside the Xbox ot.
There's a little more to being a system architect than accepting whatever AMD gives you and duct taping it together. What's with this cult around Mark Cerny? Isn't AMD making the console based on Ryzen3 and Navi? I don't doubt that he's working on the specs but is he really what people make him out to be when AMD is developing the CPU and GPU?
I'm still betting on MS to have the stronger console. It means more to their console business than it does to Sony. I could see them losing 50-100 dollars per console just to make sure. Their money is going to come from software sales and live/gamepass subs anyway.
Phil said console sales are not that important so why go all out and lose money?I'm still betting on MS to have the stronger console. It means more to their console business than it does to Sony. That's silly..those type of posts are in all threads, not just Xbox. Plus he has a point if you knew what Pinello was at on gaf last gen. Then there is Jez "Bigotry ain't that bad" Cordon.Ugh. Posts like this is why I don't like posting outside the Xbox ot.

It would be wild if Sony came in more powerful than Scarlett since Microsoft has really hung their hat on being THE best platform for high performance.
The more people using the console the bigger pool of people to sell gamepass / live to. It is super important.Phil said console sales are not that important so why go all out and lose money?
I rather trust misterxmedia!I rather trust Brad Sam, Jez, Klobrille and Penello , thank you.
Specs are great and all but they mean fuck all if the user experience is absolute trash.
I would hope that Microsoft don't have another Xbox One fiasco where the UI runs like dog shit and the games can't even hit standard performance targets.
I would hope that Sony doesn't continue their dog shit UI as well.
A Gamer Can Dream
But he already said the business isn't how many consoles you sell. They could put gamepass on Mobil if they want hundreds of millions. The more people using the console the bigger pool of people to sell gamepass / live to. It is super important.
