Polar Bear Cafe is wholesome and humorous.
I'm surprised I'm alone on this one.
You are not alone friend. Finished this recently and it instantly skyrocketed into my all-time favorites.
I'll reiterate Yuru Camp, it's as laid back and wholesome as you can get.
Also another vote for A Place Further Than The Universe. It's One of my favorites and I've been watching anime since the mid '90s. It deserves FAR more recognition than to just disappear into the seasons of bland anime.

Also Flying Witch is super comfy and wholesome. Be advised that it literally has zero drama or tension though. Just a young witch that takes the next steps to become a full fledge witch.

A lot of people like My Hero and I got to tell you something I think this show will end up an all time great.

By wholesome I mean like slice of life, romantic comedy, no lolli shit, not trope heavy.
Carole & Tuesday is legitimately the most wholesome anime I've seen in ages. There is absolutely nothing in that should raise an eyebrow. Nothing at all.
The Rolling Girls which is an anime about four girls who ride motorcycles and try to solve peoples problems to the best of their ability.
Aiura is about 3 girls in high school and the regular stuff they get up to. Very humourous and charming, short though.
Mitsuboshi Colors, an anime about 3 young girls who have made a group called "Colors". They go around town trying to solve little issues, be mischevious and have fun. Again, very nice and charming.
All are very pleasant anime and I highly recommend them.

Fruits Basket (2019) - an orphan moves in with a cursed family.
March Comes in Like a Lion - a depressed teenager finds happiness in a family of 3 sisters.

I wasn't expecting to need the tissues. I needed the tissues very badly 😂
I can't really recommend Demon Girl Next Door. It's not bad, but the show didn't resolve anything. The manga is still running and there's no indication that there's ever going to be a second season.
It sold around 8k each volume which is extremly good. The only reason that stops it from having a second season right now is that there isn't enough source material.
Also the anime wraps up at the decent point. I would definitely recommend to watch it. Super heartwarming show with fun characters and great voice acting and i really hope that we will get a second season in 2021.
