This new op is bad, not a fan.

So LeDouche doubles down on his commitment to a high body count by using what remains of the Japanese military resistance as live bait for Cordelia. I'm annoyed that Suzaku never had to confront his stupid ethics here as the black knights conveniently show up before he can shoot anyone.

I'm rooting for Shirley to plug a bullet in LeDouche

With the Spring season arriving soon, I'm curious as to what AnimeEra's to watch list for that season is.

Also, would tomorrow be too early to make a "Best of Winter 2019" poll for anime-era?

All those revivals are clearly a sign of impending apocalypse.

Worth it if we get Shigurui S2.

Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru 22

King's backstory is way too relatable. Kakeru's section is just epic and i just can't wait for the last episode. Let's go, Kansei.

There is going to be a second My Hero movie in Winter 2020 so there goes some hope of Season 4 being higher quality than previous seasons.

Bungou Stray Dogs S3 & Sarazanmai - watching to completion come hell or high water.

Kimetsu no Yaiba - Hopeful given how it looks from previews. I don't really have a clue about the source material and how it holds up but it has samurai doing samuraixdemon things apparently so it can't be that bad.(<knocks on wood>) 24 eps (it's two cour right ?) is a steep ask but well, I watched all of Godeater and half of Tales of Zestiria so my bar for Ufotable porn isn't exactly high.

Fairy Gone/Carole&Tuesday - Will check it out at the very least

A Certain Scientific Railgun: 8-12

This arc was hands down better than anything from s1 of Index. Holy crap, was there some really good stuff here.

The scene with Uiharu and Saten still really gets me. Them talking on the phone, and then once Uhiharu gets to her, she's in a coma was hard to watch. The backstory of the scientist was kinda depressing too. Showed a really dark side to Academy city, that we knew a bit about from Index but never really went in depth on. In a way it feels like this is all building up to the accelerator arc from season 1 of Index, since I'm assuming eventually the scientists are going to have their eye on misaka.

I'm really impressed with the world building in Railgun. From the first 12 episodes the show has done a good job fleshing out Academy City.

Re:Zero: 5

This episode felt like it just showed more of what was introduced in the first episode which I really like.

I said this before but the whole checkpoint system was a really cool way of filling in holes to events that happened earlier. The episode started with Subaru being confused as to why he went back to a checkpoint and towards the end of the episode we have a reason why as he's shown being brutally murdered.

That's as aspect of the show I still really continue to enjoy.

It's 1920's to 1930's samurai Yu Yu Hakusho is about the best way I can think of describing it to someone who's never seen it. Character isn't a punk though, but a well to do nice boy.

I thought Baki season 2 came out a couple of days ago but I guess not. Almost done with season 1 and it has been crazy as hell so far. I wanted to watch the older animes but never had the time. If I knew it was delayed then I would have watched them first but oh well.

She's here to pump you....

UP!

I heard some good stuff about this so count me in.

The second half of Baki season 1 got delayed to end of April for some reason.

A second season has only been mentioned in some scans, haven't seen them so who knows.

Ugh that's annoying. Their website is the best since they're a bit less anal about what counts as manga and anime.
Unfortunately I'll probably move over to MAL now since clearly Kitsu isn't on stable financial footing and could potentially collapse at any time.

so Jnovel is clarifying a few things about the FMP license

it is for a digital only release right now
they officially only have the first 6 but are in the process of getting the other 6, are committed to doing those, but the sequels and spin offs will depend on sales
It was hard to rescue the license, and the success of FMP will determine how hard it is for them to rescue other series.

so if you want other tokyopop rescues it's not a bad idea to support the FMP release. Jnovel has in general been very straight forward about how their business works, so I don't think this is a marketing ploy as much as just being straight forward that it will be easier to justify and convince the japanese publishers to let them rescue licenses if the one they rescued shows results.

edit: like they just confirmed that their server costs right now are about $500 a month lol.

edit 2: also confirmed what I originally said, if FMP sells decently enough they will do a physical run of it.

After the whole thing with MAL that happened last year I tried to use Anilist but aside from updating the episode count of things you currently watch, it's really awful. Searching stuff is really hard there imo.

Railgun is amazing, just wait until you get to Railgun S. By the way theres guides online which tell you what viewing order to watch episodes to get the best experience since some stuff in index and railgun happen at the same time.

Yeah that's my concern. Only thing is he has such good feedback...think I'll probably give it a miss, for now at least.
a lot of people don't know how to look for bootlegs so give a good review for the good price.
bootleg sellers are also quick to give refunds as long as you leave no feedback or positive feedback.

It's not confirmed that it's two cours. But I'll guess it's 12 episodes. And with Aniplex distributing and funding, I'll guess it as well.

Well, you don't need to use the account on mal. Just look at the seasons there without an account and you'll be fine. hehe

Kimetsu no Yaiba is quite good. It's got a great cast and plenty of solid action sequences for Ufotable to work their magic with.
