Yeah, I sorta started to understand that after your last post. I would say I agree with you in that regard.Don't get me wrong I'm not attacking folks choosing their own race/gender options in games. I'm talking about the ones that throw a fit when they don't have a choice.
Yeah, I don't know where it originated from, but I don't like that AAA somehow implies a game is of top quality due to budget/production, which undermines that of lower budget titles from smaller teams.
Games should be felt and understood intrinsically. Gaming should be like fire, or interpersonal connection, or orgasm - impossible to truly define in language but present in all of us.All of them. Veogames should only be discussed through nonverbal images.
Let's add
"I don't have a problem with women in games BUT"
"I don't have a problem with minorities in games BUT"
"Can't relate to this character since they're not white"
"I don't care about race or gender"
"I don't care about representation."
"This is not a real game."
"Perfect for the Switch."
Wtf does that even mean? What game is a poor fit for the Switch?
Not for a lack of trying, though.Especially this. No other group of nerds formed a violent international hate movement.
I don't particularly have a problem with these threads when done in good faith, hell FernandoRocker made one about BotW and ended up finally enjoying the game.
"Game is too long"
I'm damn great full that a game is long in this age of DLC, micro transactions, and the stigma that "Single Player games don't sell 🙄. What's the rush to finish it? I'll gladly accept longer games for my money.
"Gamer"
One of the hottest takes in this entire thread. Don't @ me.
This."Respect my time", irks to me to hell and back. It usually almost always translates to "I have no patience"
