MILWAUKEE (WITI-TV) — Outrageous cellphone video from inside a Milwaukee Popeyes restaurant shows a group of employees getting into a vicious brawl.

The incident happened while customers were inside. The violent encounter happened Wednesday at the Popeyes near 76th and Good Hope Road around 9:30 p.m.

Richard Fourté wanted to avoid the drive-through line — and went inside.

"I said to myself, I said, 'Wow, there's a lot of people working here,'" Fourté said.

Soon it went from calm to chaos inside the restaurant.
"I heard one of them yell, 'It's a fight," Fourté said. "They ran to the back by the grills, OK. Now, there was a fight back there. I didn't get that one on tape."

Fourté said tensions were just beginning to mount. Feeling the hostility, Fourté grabbed his cellphone and started recording.

Moments later, a violent fight broke out with several employees throwing punches.

Soon, the situation cooled off — and Fourté left empty-handed.

"Honestly, I wasn't even going to get the chicken sandwich," Fourté said.

I'd probably be throwing punches too if I were stuck in retail for years and management cared more about a chicken sandwich fad than their workers. Retail isn't for everyone yet it's the job so many people are forced into without wanting to be there, the stress is unreal.

Fast food is a bit worse than retail. Working on a hot ass mini assembly line almost completely on your feet for 8 hours while your manager is yelling at you because the drive thru timers are high or other stupid shit. And the customers treat you like shit for sport. Working at McDonalds was by far the hardest job I've had.

It is amazing how poorly Popeyes runs their operations. CFA rightfully gets shit on, but they are seemingly the gold standard on fast food worker pay and efficiency. Things don't break down because they're popular.

You're basically asking why McDonalds or Chik Fil A don't have items as hot as the chicken sandwich.
Joke right? Chickfila has lines that Popeyes wishes they could buy.

Seriously, Popeyes has 3,000 locations with a revenue of $200 million in 2018. Chickfilahas 2,400 locations and a revenue of $10 Billion. Chickfilais busy as ASS everytime I go, talking 20 cars deep.

Even on crowded ass days, every Chik Fil A I seen had them running smooth like a well oiled machine. Pre crisis Popeye's didn't even have half these crowds before even during peak hours.

Outside of that Chik Fil A day a few years ago when bigots decided to flock there in droves, they've never had the sudden surge of people that Popeyes had with this sandwich.
Okay but that is moving the goal posts, you are saying surge, okay fine. Popeyes went from being meh busy to Chickfila busy, the point is we were talking about high stress and low wages. Chickfila and McDonalds have this shit every day.

I'm not moving the goal post. Because yes, it's a surge. A lot of these news stories are directly tied to a recent, ultra-popular item and you guys are the ones in here sitting around asking why you're hearing so much about violent outbreaks with a particular fast food chain and not others when the answer is staring you straight in the face. Popeyes has the the sandwich everyone cares about right now, other chains do not.

Please provide receipts.

I googled fight at chick fil a and only see one example from September of 2018. As another noted they constantly have lines.
I'm talking about how busy Chickfila is on a daily basis, yet they don't have this shit happening. The whole point is someone said, yah I get it they are busy and paid shit. So is Chickfila and you don't see this happening.

Working at White Castles destroyed me on the inside. Even more so with it being in a bad area.
Nothing like seeing a child drop straws on the floor as you're cleaning up and looking at you like you're their lil bitch. I left the front that moment and no one dared to say shit about me leaving that shit on the floor.

It sucks ass, it's stressful and many people act like shit heads when they feel they have power over others. Yet somehow people who put up with this non-sense are expected to live on pennies because it doesn't require a degree.

If Roscoes released one with waffles as bread would the world just end?

The chicken sandwich corrupts you with its whispers of madness
Some say the forbidden fruit Eve took from the Tree of Life wasn't actually a fruit but a Popeye's Chicken Sandwich.

It would explain a lot

Bullshit. Maybe these employees aren't doing their dream jobs, but that's absolutely no excuse for this. It sounds like the economic anxiety excuse.

CFA has a sudden surge basically every day at lunch. If Popeyes had a regular demand that matched a random CFA lunch rush, well, you'll get this.
