Anyone else having problems with avatar uploads?

I managed to get this one I have now working...somehow, but I can't get the png one with the transparent background I want to get uploaded at all.

Yeah, I ran into the same issue trying to upload a 200x200 pixel avatar with a transparency. In the end, what worked was uploading a 120x120 pixel version of it.

OK. Actually got it to work at 192x192, but thanks for the tip anyway.

Go into Photoshop/GIMP/whatever and increase the canvas size so your image is square.

Once again, it's not a size issue, it's a dimensional one. This board apparently wants square images, so you're gonna have to make your's square.

Working here. I like how you can drag the image around in the preview to make sure it is centered where you want it.

I was able to upload mine twice. PNG with a transparent background. First it was a 500x500 but I didn't like how it looked next to my posts so I resized it to 200x200. No issues uploading.

Yeah I had to fiddle with mine to get it transparent and the right size and all. Kinda a hassle.
