Anyone familiar with the workings of a Septic System and Drain Field?

Basically, the line busted from the septic system to the drainfield, creating a depression in yard in that location.
The dirt had to go somewhere so i'm worried it went into the drainfield, making it useless.

Am I going to need a new drainfield, or just fix the connections?
