Also, as much as I love their albums, they kinda suck live tbh. Saw 'em at Lolla and they were prissy because of the rain, and once more in Orlando. Alex just tries to act too c00000l

It seems like they've already filmed a music video for the song "Four out of Five", at least according to rumors. So that'll probably be the first single, and given that the album is little more than a month out we should get to hear it soon. Next week or two probably if not within the next few days.

Was in the same boat with you. Kind of expected this once Arctic Monkeys started their tour rounds again and joined major festivals like Lollapalooza. Surprised that it's coming out so soon.

Apparently there won't be a single so it;ll be the 5th May (Their first gig) or the 11th May (album release) until we hear something

On one hand, it's only a month out.
On the other, we get that amazing teaser then have to wait a month :(

Oh well, I've got my records pre-ordered and concert tickets. Can't complain too much.

Alex can't do no wrong in my book. I keep coming back to AM and I love to listen to it all the way through. EYCTE was amazing as well with solely winners on the album and fucking awesome b-sides and EP. His songwriting on Alexandra Savior's album was also pretty good. I believe Alex made a huge step forward with AM. Suck it and See wasn't really that good in retrospect, if I'm honest.

The wait's not long, so I'll hold off on a single and listen to the album fresh in its entirety. Fuck yeah.

That is a gorgeous album cover.

Amazing what the Arctic Monkeys have done. Having a complete artistic renaissance within a British band's career is so rare. Even are best bands usually capped out a two albums.

Did they ever pay The Black Keys royalties for Do I Wanna Know? Because they should. You have to get into Greta Van Fleet territory to find a more blatant stylistic rip-off.

That teaser sounds dope! AM was hit and miss for me, probably my least favourite album of theirs, and I really couldn't get into the second shadow puppets album. Hopefully this is a bit more to my taste.

I liked the tweet that said they looked like they entered their librarians who also own yachts phase of fashion.

Not a huge fan of the beard or Jamie's budget Loki/Tom Hiddleston look, but that's all superfluous to the album. Can't wait for that, been too long.

Im really weird with them. The first EP, then Whatever People Say... = Fantastic. Favourite Worse Nightmare = solid. The rest, didn't like really apart from 'Do I wanna Know' which was a gloriously dark slow burn stomper.

Thought Alex went entirely up his own ass but then I did like the Shadow Puppets album

AM was a great album in a year of great albums (Modern Vampires of The City and ... Like Clockwork also came out in 2013) and I am really excited for this one! Love the track titles.
