Definition of imposter syndromeI'm not sure I know what that one is. I only go with what I have been officially diagnosed with and that's not one of them. But it may apply.
Impostor syndrome (also known as impostor phenomenon, impostorism, fraud syndrome or the impostor experience) is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being exposed as a "fraud".
That's entirely me. Just graduated university with honors and that's all I feel. I can't brag about myself unironically.

Yeah I haven't been diagnosed but I can see that.
It's not an actual diagnosis, more of a phenomenon pretty much everyone experiences lol
Okay, I just never investigated it. I think my issue stems from so many people reading a website or webmd and diagnosing themselves which I feel is bad and don't do, so if I don't get the idea from a doctor I don't usually research. It's not an actual diagnosis, more of a phenomenon pretty much everyone experiences lol
It's actually much more balanced than I expected.
I'm sure you're smart given your field of study, but some of the most educated people I know are flat out dullards but they have no clue.
You're right though, most people won't admit to being below average when often times it Carrie's no significance.
For example: what do you call the worst person in class to graduate medical school? A doctor.
Whachu talking bout foo? Youse wicked smaht
Some are, or there wouldn't be people getting perfect scores on their SAT/ACT. Certainly all-rounders are less common than single-subject above average people, but they exist. Even when including common sense and street smarts into the picture.I mean I really think it depends. My ACT score was a 27 and I got a 32 in math and reading then a 26 in science. Then there was the English section where I got a 16 and bombed my score to hell 😂😂 people are above average in there own sections for sure but I don't think anyone is above average in everything.
