Oh boy... So I thought it might be fun to work on E2ing SilverAsh while cleaning out the event store. Had most of the items ready and farmed the missing ones from the event stages and upgraded them to higher tiers in the Workshop.
Was only missing the big Chips so I got four of them today.
Then I realized that those big Chips aren't what I actually need. I still need to build Dual Chips out of them. So I need another four of those big Guard Chips...
To build those Dual Chips I need to level up my Factory by one more level. Problem is, I don't have enough spare power, so I need to upgrade a Power Plant first.
That means I need a bunch more of that Lv 3 building materials... and therefore a whole bunch more of those chonker bricks...
Fuck me...

Have you levelled him yet? I'm also working on him but I haven't dumped my exp in him yet and I think it's going to take a lot more than I currently have xD

He's at 55 right now so there's no immediate rush but it would have been nice to have everything else in place and then just grind for the levels after the event...
I guess it won't be so bad once I have my base in order because I only have to invest into the rooms once but it still caught me off guard...

Literally the exact same thing happened to me with I thought I was about to E2 Amiya and realized I had to make dual chips.

I am still waiting for a good DPS to E2... will I ever get a top operator tag?

I only have Jessica and Amiya as my DPS :/

Top OP tag is a lie don't believe anyone telling you it exists.

That said I recently got the rare Summoner tag and got Mayer out of it so I know that one isn't a lie at least.

Guys.. is SSSR really that rare or am I just a really really lucky F2P?
I just pull Siege with a (first) single headhunt, and I already got Exusai, SilverAsh and Angelina with the two noob banners.

Odd of getting SSR is 2% per roll, so on average you roll 1 per 50 roll.. so yeah, enjoy lol

I've gotten 2 Top Operator tags in the 3.5 weeks I played and got Siege and Saria out of it. Definitely an aberration.

I also got 2 Top operator tag over the last month. I actually want a senior operator tag and hopefully guard to go along with it.

I'm gonna assume E2 process will be easier later, as with all gacha games, qol stuff is added.


I'm curious how vital E2 is for current China content though?


Like is the power creep so bad that you can't do some galaxy brain strats with low rarity E1 stuff?

I didnt reroll. I got Silverash on my first 10 pull.

Got Hoshiguma in a top operator tag. Liskarm and Meteorite , Feater, cliffhart, Nearl , Franka , Mayer and Savage.

Franka n Meteorite are great. and need to level my Nearl.

Honestly i didnt even know that skill level could be raised further than lvl 7 and the video really put things into perspective.
The farming and more importantly the stamina needed to e2 some of these units is crazy....on one hand you probably wont need e2 units for content anytime soon, but in general im not a fan of games that require the crazy amount of farming for only one unit to reach the highest level - especially when the superior artwork of the unit is locked behind that e2.

Gonna wait and see how much time we get after the event to work on other stuff - seems like i need to clear story 3-4 next to level up my Control Center, but right now i wanna focus on the current event to get as much as possible.

My longterm goals are probably gonna be to e2 Silverash, Ptoloptis and Saria - they could be the main core of my group.

imma E2 Silverash too. Hes lvl 71 now. Just slowly work on chips and caralysts as you are farming event

just started playing a few days ago, about to fight what i assume is the first boss... game seems pretty alright so far, for a mobile gacha game at least.

This game 100% needs more background.

In one of the loading screens it says Lungman is a city BUILT ON A VEHICLE THAT CONSTANTLY MOVES AROUND??? HOW DID I MISS THAT DURING THE STORY AND HOW WHAT I NEED MORE INFO

Give me Dragalia-Lost style character background stories IDC i just need some more lore please.

It was covered in the story that all cities are mobile and every character has a fairly significant amount of biographical info in their level-up screen tab, relative to your trust level with them.

Story seems okay so far. I feel like it needs to squeeze in some downtime, because it's too serious 99% of the time. I'm actually finding it more interesting to discover bits and pieces of existing relationships between operators in their archive files. This from Matterhorn was pretty cool to read:

Also, as much as I like the design of the Doctor, the existence of a blatant self-insert (with amnesia, to boot) is nothing but a detriment to the overall narrative Arknights is trying to build. God, I hate self-inserts.

Is it worth it to get Specter from store? I don't have much luck with Guards, until today the only decent Guard that I have is only Melantha.

Melantha is perfectly fine until you get SilverAsh or Mousse. I still use her instead even though I do have SilverAsh because I was able to easily max her level and skill, and I don't have the resources to E2 SA, which is when he gets the skill that anyone actually cares about.

Hmm I already have Mousse and I don't particularly like Silverash although he is OP as fuck.

Or skip Specter and get Blue Poison at the next banner hmm.

Had a specialist tag today so I got all excited. It fell off as the only tag after 9 hours so i just got a 3* sniper X(

Been spending my time clearing planning clears of all the dailies that I was stuck on before the event (LS / CE 4) since not much else to do while waiting for stamina recharges.

Alright, farmed some carbon bricks to finish upgrading my power plant and factory so I can produce the Guard Dual Chips while farming the event.
E2 SilverAsh soon...
