This is a hardcore math/RNG game which takes 20-30 minutes to play and you are expected to spend money.
The amount of money depends on how savvy you are in the market, your RNG in opening lootboxes, or winning in the Gauntlet.
I can attest that you can expect to lose a lot if you are going to just jump in without acquiring meta cards or meta decks.

Beginner Guides
I would highly recommend reading and watching both if you have never played a card game or DOTA before.
There is about two layers of jargon and key terms that you need to acquaint yourself with before you can have success.
Trying to explain everything in the OT would surpass the character limit.

Acquiring new wards can only be purchased either in boosters, on the market, or won through Expert Gauntlets
Sadly there is no card trading
There are 4 color cards which don't really correspond to Dota or Magic colors:
You must have a hero in lane to use spells of the corresponding color, so the more colors you mix the higher RNG it requires.
