I don't know about the English dub, but in Japanese, yes, he is.
Also, Eren's VA is Kôichi's, Zeke's is Dio's, and Floch (sp?)'s is Giorno's.
(If we include video games, Levi's VA has also voiced Rohan, and Hans' VA has also voiced Kôichi and Giorno. That's off the top of my head, there might be more.)

Wow I honestly didn't know about the other VA's. That's awesome, they really did an excellent job.

There have always been the random careless or reckless poster spoiling stuff in the past, intentional or not, but post-basement had really brought out another level of open manga talk that really spiraled out of control where it wasn't just one person, it was multiple people.

I appreciate the manga readers that have behaved themselves, but it's gotten bad. I don't know the solution but if it doesn't get fixed it will probably drive away some anime-only posters, and unfortunately, that may be what some manga readers want, as long as they aren't the ones who have to tip toe around spoilers.

How about we ban manga readers from posting in the anime thread? If you participated in the manga thread, you should not be posting here until the season is done. I think that kind of drastic measure for the last season during the duration of the airings is the fairest way I can think of.

If you really wanted to discuss the current airing after an episode airs, you can post in the manga thread and let the anime only folks come to you.

It's a pity that nobody remembers how much Erwin liked Armin and that he was grooming him to be his successor. Like the guy even calls Armin one of their greatest weapons but unfortunately everyone who was around to hear that is now dead.

If Levi had saved Erwin Erwin would have never forgiven him.

I could have gone with Erwin's speech, Levi's fight or the basement. All obviously GOAT moments that will be remembered forever.

But I love the sea scene of this episode. It is quietly beautiful. Nothing happens physically, but damn all the things going through the minds of the characters. Awe. Nostalgy. Depression. Hope. Eren in particular. Deeply moving in a less in your face kind of way.

Again, that's a unrealistic proposal, nor is it "fair" to say people can only post in a thread several months after the fact.

On the other note Eren saying does he have to kill everyone across the sea to finally get his freedom just make sad and gives me chills at the same time. And the resignation to that on his face is just even more heartbreaking.

I'm surprised more people are talkong about eren getting flash of the start of the fight with Grisha and the Royal family and hia pleading before he killed them all.

Legit try to block his channel if at all possible. There are usually youtube extensions/addons for that, for desktop browsing at least. If you watch a bunch of SnK content on YouTube you're likely to see him in recommendations eventually, and by then it might already be too late because of the bullshit thumbnail images.

Just as an aside, what were the critiques of the PN adaptation? I've read the manga since it first came out so I may have forgotten some stuff, but it seemed like a pretty straight adaptation to me. Only thing I can think of is Krone talking to her doll, which wasn't in the manga (as far as I can remember, maybe I'm wrong).

Oh no, I'm avoiding every SnK on YT and if I do come across a video by chance I immediately take it off my view history.

I think most of the reaction channels are spoiler free as aloy of people are anime only.

Castle superbeast podcast just had a spoiler attack on titan discussion I posted on here because one of them literally only read up to eren getting to the ocean before tje second half of the season started and the other is completely fresh as a anomaly only.

How did Zeke have a whole bunch of Titans all transform outside Shiganshina in the first episode they got there when they sprung the ambush? (See timestamp here.) When I first saw that I thought that meant he had a *TON* of shifters, but it seems those were just normal titans since there are only the 9.

Did he bring a bunch of people out there to get injected with the Titan formula all at the same time?

There were character moments galore. That's what matters to me most in any sort of storytelling.

Loved the finale. Loved this entire season, both parts, quite a bit.

We can pretty safely assume season 4 will be more like 1 and 3 and less like 2 in terms of length, right? I can't see this wrapping in 12 more episodes...

Honestly it's just 3 to 4 manga readers in this thread who can't help themselves and should stay away(yet continue to participate in this thread to this day), and they already know who they are since they've tried to defend themselves after people have asked them to chill.

Wish I could vote them off this thread Survivor-style, but oh well.

Anyways, 10/10 season, did a great job adapting the manga, can't wait to see how the upcoming stuff will be adapted next season. Even if another studio adopts the show, I'm pretty confident/hopeful that we'll be getting a good replacement team.

We're thinking along the same lines, I just mean a pure and immediate ban for any spoilers or excessive hinting or pretend theorizing. Blanket banning people usernames from the manga thread doesn't work. Anyone that is a manga reader who doesn't spoil things is essentially acting the same way an anime viewer would be and doesn't need to be banned.

I do too but unfortunately a few bad apples can ruin a good batch. I'm more concerned with keeping the experience pure for the anime-only crowd in the only thread they have, instead of giving the manga crowd another outlet to discuss.

As a manga reader, I want to be here because it is nice to see how different interpretations are to events depending on how they were executed in manga and anime. Like it looks to me Floch got more 'character' in this episode than in the manga.

I'm confused about something in the end credits, were any of those shots sandwiched in between S1 recap shown in the anime? I mean anything those that looked like WWII -ish, I dont remember seeing any of those... or are they some sort of preview for next season? :O

My favorite thing about the beach scene — and this applies to the travel scenes beforehand too — is that the script and animation let the story breathe. It felt harmonious and rightly epic without unnecessary bombast. Anime doesn't always nail this notion. The characters are quieter and more contemplative. Armin and Mikasa's smiles take a moment to show up. It's overwhelming for our heroes and the audience senses it.

But also the only one who didnt smile the whole time was Eren which kinda makes it all even more poignant

This thread just needed better moderation.

Thread bans should have been in place for manga readers who dropped hints etc.

As a manga reader, I like coming here and reading speculation and posting about how great the anime adaptation is.
