Tbh I don't follow any manga threads here outside of this one, but I've seen it done in other media OTs as well. Maybe it's less common than my exposure to it
Jean's not technically wrong, the Genocide as bad as it is for everyone else is going to benefit them in the end because all of their enemies are going to be wiped off. They have no real reason to fight Eren's Genocide other then for morallity reasons since Genocide is not a good thing.

I really like how Gabi's character developed. It is interesting how she looks very similiar to Eren this chapter after tying her hair.

I did know the intention behind her character a while back but I find it interesting that she looks so similiar to him in terms of looks. Especially when she tied her hair.
