I'll check, I turned down a review copy so we should be getting it here in some form, physical release might just be a month or two away as we seem to get the random collections/remasters months after the USreptilescorpio boring lands remastered is supposed to lanuch soon ( has launched ?) have you got any info with regards to the local release ?
Mortal Kombat? Nah MK10 was pretty disappointing.Anyone else getting MK11? I'm amazed they can still keep that series fresh. But here we are.
MK9 was brilliant though! On a related note, I just realised that I haven't bought a fighting game this gen. Hopefully MK11 turns out well, any reviews yet?
Sad.
Don't know what the opinion of Rush is, but eat shit News Corp.
Just watch the Cyberpunk 45 minute gameplay vid again. Those specs for the new PS5 sound nice, but don't really mean much until I see games.

Been enjoying it a lot since launch. There've been a few patches and apparently the day one patch fixed a ton of the bugs reviewers had. I'm playing on a Pro with a SSD and taking my time with the game so I'm like best case scenario.bumping the thread for non-election related Australian posting despite not me living in Aus anymore.
for reasons, I have bought Days Gone and am installing it today. Any impressions?
Also, while not Aussie, I managed to watch Wellington Paranormal, the first spin off of the What we Do in the Shadows movie. Pretty good Kiwi show, something you don't hear often enough.
I've been enjoying Days Gone a lot more than expected. I'm hoping it's a lot less stingey about things like refuelling and ammo than Mad max was (a main reason I didn't stick with that).
At the moment, any open world game where i can play the campaign in less than 40 hours (after the 60 or so it took to get through AC:Odyssey) is a bonus.
Took me at least half of the game to realise you could just pull up next to a pump and still get gas!
Much, much better than the average reviews claim. The one piece of "bad writing" bandied around is firmly tongue in cheek and taken completely out of context. Great characters and a really different focus, this is a human vs. human game, it just happens to contain zombies on the side. Frame rate is terrible on a slim though. Probably the biggest let down is the hordes, they are a chore at times. Takes way too long to prepare to take one on.
I'm like 40 hours in easy and only halfway through the story apparently, thing is huge.I've been enjoying Days Gone a lot more than expected. I'm hoping it's a lot less stingey about things like refuelling and ammo than Mad max was (a main reason I didn't stick with that).

I'm really enjoying MK11 too, even though I'm a total scrub. The cheesy story mode is fantastic, I was sold on it after the old skool vs new skool trailer :)MK11 is really fun, really changes things up from X though. Change is good. Kabal's fatality made me wince.

From reading the OT, it seems like the PS4 or Xbox versions are the ones to get. They're handled by Netherrealm Studios, the other versions are contracted out. The always online aspect hurts the Switch version I think. What's the go with the Switch version? Kinda wanna get it, but the grinding and the port issues are doing an excellent job of keeping me away.
I wanna play it handheld on the train though :(From reading the OT, it seems like the PS4 or Xbox versions are the ones to get. They're handled by Netherrealm Studios, the other versions are contracted out. The always online aspect hurts the Switch version I think.
I've only played the PS4 version, but I see many posts like this one in the OT:
Anyone know where I won't get gouged for a new set of joy cons? Big W has them for $109, but that's about as low as I've seen them.
Ooh! Thanks!Looks like Amazon has the yellow ones for $94, which is the cheapest I've seen them over Big W occasionally having them on sale for $99
EB have deals now and then for pre-owned ones, $36 each sideAnyone know where I won't get gouged for a new set of joy cons? Big W has them for $109, but that's about as low as I've seen them.
I need to jump on one of those deals, I bet the left ones always go first because of the d-pad mod :/

Eh, what's the fucking point? The rich get richer, poor get poorer and actual middle-class (not the perceived middle-class, who are actually upper and vote only for themselves) get forgotten or fucked.Reminder: All you can do is what is within your means. You cannot change the world by yourself. Be honest and passionate with those around you. Stay the course. Keep your head up and make your voice heard.

I think we all thought we were better than this as a nation. I guess we can no longer point and laugh at the stupid decisions made by Trump or Brexit voters.I honestly thought the Australian public was better than this. Fear mongering worked, following in the footsteps of US and UK.
