No Pro, just a '2DS' style version of the Switch which doesn't have joycons or TV out. Kinda like a big Vita.Where was it announced? And did they announce a "pro" or just the mini/lite?

I would be interested in this also...Does anyone know of a domestic carrier for flights to north QLD that is not a bloody rip off?
I have to get to Cairns next week and the return flights on the major domestic airlines are 400-500 bucks, some going as high at 800 bucks? What the fuck. Been looking at flights for 2 weeks...can get cheaper tickets with full baggage and meals to other countries.
It's fucking amazing. Make sure to do the History Tour stuff afterwards, incredibly impressive. Wish they'd do the same with Odyssey but damn that would've been a ton of work.Took me long enough, but I finally jumped in on Assassin's Creed Origins. Love me some ancient Egypt history.

Both the expansions are worthwhile too. Highly recommend, Hidden Ones is the weaker of the two if you have to choose.
That's a good point. I have old graphics cards and motherboards that I should really dispose of. Is there a non-terrible-for-the-environment way of doing that?Do any of you have experience getting rid of old PC parts? I've got two spare cases (mid size and small) that have been sitting in my cupboard for far too long. Usually I'd put parts on OCAU but they can be a bit draining.
Thats a good idea, I'll have a look around.Donate to a recycle place, tons around that specifically ask for PC parts
Our council is pretty rubbish tbh. Going by their usual rates the disposal fee of the two cases would probably be around $30. Not overly worried about making money of them, but would prefer not to have to pay for it either.my local council has an e-waste facility, so if you've already junked the units with no eye to getting money back you might as well figure out that.
Honestly, in-game it feels super scummy. Hopefully something gets done.i think it's still caught by the fact that you can't cash out the in-game currency into real money yet which is where a lot of the grey area lies. Because Parliament is such a fuck up right now it's not going to go into legislation at the federal level unless Steele-John can make a significant push (and he might), so that's where the case law is at at last glance.

That whole phenomenon will never cease to amaze me. It doesn't matter how completely fucked something is, somebody will always take it.I just put whatever old or broken shit I don't want out on the street in front of my house and within an hour some scab has taken it away and given it a loving new home :)

What are you leaving outside on the street that contains that much copper worth stripping it out for?orrrr they strip the copper out and leave broken pieces of plastic and metal husks along your street because they's bastards
I looked into what you said, and surprsingly enough my council does free drop off for E waste, I wonder if a case with a broken mobo counts as E waste, or if they're smart enough to ask to remove the mobo from the case.my local council has an e-waste facility, so if you've already junked the units with no eye to getting money back you might as well figure out that.
That's disappointing. Mine was mailed out the day before and it arrived on the day (Friday). I suggest getting on the support chat and asking about it.lmao, I preordered Fire Emblem from Amazon and it still hasn't shipped yet. i ordered from there because i didn't think i was gonna be around the local shops on launch day (turns out i was on Saturday, actually) and figured i'd be fine getting it around mid-week so i'm not too pressed but it kinda defeats the purpose of preordering if not only does it not get sent out on launch day, but it misses the next business day after too
Super weird as I've received every pre-order so far on time, definitely hit up their support linelmao, I preordered Fire Emblem from Amazon and it still hasn't shipped yet. i ordered from there because i didn't think i was gonna be around the local shops on launch day (turns out i was on Saturday, actually) and figured i'd be fine getting it around mid-week so i'm not too pressed but it kinda defeats the purpose of preordering if not only does it not get sent out on launch day, but it misses the next business day after too
Did it say "Ships from and sold by Amazon AU" above the dot points on the product's page?
"Help" >"Need more help?" > "Contact Us"Like, the whole Doom shadowdrop thing happened and I was like "holy shit, Doom 3 on a handheld would've blown 16 year old me's mind, of course I'm super cool playing that while I wait for Fire Emblem." I live in the middle of nowhere, so I wasn't expecting the game to get here right away, I just didn't think it wouldn't have even shipped by this point lol
e: i've looked through the support topics related to this order and there isn't any immediately obvious direct connection choices anyway. it's all a web of links to different topics in their support faqs and while i'm sure there's some end point where i get to ask a person "hey, this game came out five days ago, where's my shit?" having to sift through all those layers is really throwing out the whole 'convenience' thing that e-commerce was meant to offer over physical retail
"Help" >"Need more help?" > "Contact Us"
I really like text chat support that a lot of sites provide.
depends on who it was sent through. i think most of mine have been via Auspost. so if your local post office does deliveries on Saturdays it should.Anyone know if Amazon deliver on Saturdays? I ordered something yesterday and it said guaranteed delivery by Saturday 3rd August. I can't remember ever getting anything on a Saturday except at Xmas when they were playing catchup.
No chance then, Auspost ignore us for most of the week and then bring everything all at once, never on a Saturday.depends on who it was sent through. i think most of mine have been via Auspost. so if your local post office does deliveries on Saturdays it should.
I've had some stuff arrive on Saturday but those were via courier through AusPostAnyone know if Amazon deliver on Saturdays? I'm not sure if you know this but you are oldThat thread about walmart not showing interactive displays for games reminded me of when i was a kid, they used to sell shotguns and rifles at my local K Mart in Suburban Brisbane.
I've looked into it and it turns out that I am old too
I only ever feel old when I go in to work on Mondays and ask the twenty-somethings about their weekends. They talk about going out, clubbing or going to see musical acts I've never heard of and I feel about a million years old, what with my wife and kids and our house in the suburbs.
Go with something like this
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 with cooler
Mobo: B450 motherboard
RAM: 16GB DDR4, can be anywhere from 2400MHz to 3200MHz
GPU: AMD 580, take your pick, 2-3 fans
SSD: definitely get an SSD, either a SATA one or an NVMe if your motherboard supports it. NVMe is much quicker than SATA
HDD: Get a 1-2 TB HDD just so you have some space for non gaming files to go.
PSU: 500W, preferably modular
Case: Make sure you get something with some fans and a decent bit of space on the back of the motherboard side panel for cable management.
You'll probably end up around $1,000 with a setup like that.
