Sweet, I like long movies.

I watched Lawrence of Arabia (Directors Cut 3 hours and 48 minutes ) and Ben-Hur (OG 3 hours and 42 minutes ) last month. Lots of movie time with the new-born, haha.

Both had intermissions....that I fast-forwarded through.

I've done Titanic in 1997, and Return of the King and Pirates 3 in 2003 and 2007 respectively. All multiple times, all without problems.

I've been looking for a new personal bladder-challenge this decade. End Game, don't disappoint me!

3 hours 2 minutes of Avengers on Thursday, 1 hour 22 minutes of GoT (happened to see it was updated from a lower time earlier) on Sunday... should be a good weekend.

I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey and Stalker in a cinema without leaving the room once... I think I'll be fine with this one.

Those two extra minutes are there for an X-Men introduction with a roll call, just like a Power Rangers opening.

Zero issues with this. Just make it great.

RotK kept my attention for its every second, and that movie was longer.

I saw my first Bollywood film in the cinema a few years ago and they seemingly all have intermissions (despite not being that much longer than a lot of movies these days), it was great

What I'm saying is that Endgame should have one too. And at least 3 dance scenes.

I must be lucky judging by the comments in this thread because I've never once had a pee break during a movie at a theater.

As long as it's good I don't mind, but most of the longer MCU movies have dragged a bit imo.

The real big battle isn't going to be The Avengers vs. Thanos. It will be the audience vs. their bladders.

Have there not been multiple articles and interviews going back to 2018 telling us to expect a 3 hour movie?

I've always been under the impression that it would be 3 hours.

I'm just really tense, cause I'm not sure I can take in 1l of cola, and stay put in my seat lol.

The Russos have told us the "current" runtime was about 3 hours, but we never had the locked in final runtime. And we still don't. But still expect them 180 minutes.

What if the time travel is Groundhog/Edge of Tomorrow and 2.5 hours is different outcomes of the same idea?

Crazy. That will result in 4 hours between shows (factoring in trailers, credits and clean up) and 4 shows a day per screen instead of 5. 11am, 3pm, 7pm, 11pm (or 10, 2, 6, 10).

Calling it now, if that time is accurate, Endgame makes $100-200m less WW than IW.

Still amazing to me that we've seen maybe two minutes of actual footage. All studios should take a page from Marvel on this one.
