It's been 20 years and I'm still constantly singing "L-A-T-E-R that week" in my head.
Mother We Can't Just Get Enough was used on an episode of Scrubs so maybe a small percentage of Scrubs watchers know it.

Saying they have only one good song might be in the extreme but I really do feel like this track is everything they've been trying to accomplish with their music, so much so that if they only released this one sone and were never heard from again, they would be one of my favorite artists ever but alas they seem content to mine the same sonic territory over and over again with results that leave me empty. Why keep digging when you've already struck gold?

They finessed a vacation for them and their friends out of that music video. VideoFACT gave them a grant to shoot it, and they just took the money and went to Florida or wherever and shot it with borrowed equipment. (This was before it became a smash hit.)
Nothing gives me more 90s nostalgia than this song.

The quality of Stereo Hearts/Ass Back Home is debatable but they were certainly both hits.
It's crazy too since I like Hughes and Homme is pretty much everything else they've done... but Eagles of Death Metal just pretty much suck.

The lead singer was a control freak, he literally fired the drummer DURING this music video shoot because he took a bath, yes you read that right, because the drummer took a BATH.
He wanted them to look "dirty" for the video and forbid them from all taking baths while they were filming the video over a few days. That's why after a certain point in the video you never see him again.
They made one more album after this song and it didn't do well and then they broke up.
