Are the stuff in the deluxe edition just dlc for multiplayer? If so I'd go ahead and grab the base game soon.
I'm only interested in the SIngle Player and have no interest in the multiplayer. if the dlc adds in extra sp stuff I could get it.Get BF1 Revolution instead, it's the entire game with DLC for just five more.

How long is the SP then? If it is 4ish hours, that's fine, but is the SP not good?I wouldn't recommend spending money on a Battlefield game for single player. It's like buying a Zelda game for the fishing mini game.

Had fun for a couple hours playing the Battlefield 1 trial on PC. So I got BF1 Revolution for $15. So what's the best mode on quickmatch to find games? Seems like some are empty, and DLC maps have been empty as well. Where is everyone? I'm on PC.
Does anyone still play this on PS4 or PC? Is there a Discord? It doesn't look like the one in the OP copied right when I quote it.
I read in places some people say Battlefield 1 more boring than Battlefield 4 or something like that that true?
Haven't played a BF game since 4 and it looks like the new upcoming BF V will be similar to 1 so will it also be boring hmmm
Thank you very informative :)BFV plays nothing like BF1.
However, BF1 can be considered more boring than BF4 because BF1 was way more staged than BF4. There was less emergent gameplay, since DICE took away a lot of the sandbox elements from past BF games so that it would seem more cinematic and exciting for a first time player.
For example, BF1 employs many "fake" elements that would be player controller in a past BF like BF4. In a map like Ambien or Argonne Forest, you would see planes flying overhead in the skybox; but they are just there for decoration, in BF4 those planes would be actual players. In maps like Sinai Desert you'll run across tanks on fire on the field, but they are scripted to be there, it didn't come from a player whose tank was destroyed. There are tons of weapons and objects on the map that on past BF games you could control and use, but in BF1 they are used only as window dressing.
All this stuff makes for an amazing first impression (which is why reviews adored it), but because it's all fake, it becomes boring fast and the only thing left to enjoy is the core gameplay, which is just a standard shooter you could find elsewhere.
I found BF1 to be extremely fun with a lot of replay value with the DLC. My only major compaints would be the lack of vehicle focused maps, no dedicated engineer class, and the random bullet deviation. Otherwise, I had just as much fun with it as any other Battlefield, if not more.I read in places some people say Battlefield 1 more boring than Battlefield 4 or something like that that true?

I got used to it over time, but it was jarring at first. Then again, you do need something to balance a 25 round magazine fed semi auto with a 10 round clip fed one I guess.Never really got the point of the RBD complaints, other than the fact that suppression could elevate it to frankly ridiculous levels almost instantly but that's going away anyway.
Personally I found the gunplay the most enjoyable in a long time compared to older titles and other shooters in general, but to each their own I guess.

Disappointed they didn't add the Shock Operations to the whole map to play individually.
They didn't do Albion? Oh that's bullshit, that map would've been so much better than Lupkow. You mean like on the operations overview map? Yeah, it would have been cool if they had done that. I also feel like they could have added a few more shock operations. One for Operation Albion would have been really cool.

Just bought this in the sale. What am in for?
Also the controls felt really off so I went to the settings and found the dead zone is set to 20%. Who the heck thought that was a good idea?
I put it down to 5% and felt much better.
What else I need to tweak?
Seems to be working now. I'm on PS4Check the server browser settings to make sure you arent getting empty servers. Matchmaking doesnt work.
So can anybody give advice on how I can best go about progressing? I played Medic a lot and seems I've reached some maximum and now I should play the other classes to reach their max too? After I max all the classes, what will that get me?
Another question: Can I use weapons from one class on another class?
Maybe it's for their perks? You level up classes by playing the objective with them (such as healing people as a Medic, giving ammunition as a Support, spotting people as a Scout, etc). Not sure what you mean by a class maximum, though. Maybe you mean that you bought all their weapons? That still leaves all their specialist attributes and medals to unlock, which would take a huge amount of time. If you can somehow max all the classes, you'd have been playing for hundreds of hours.
And no, each class is defined by their weapons and abilities, you cannot use one from another in a different class.

I kinda want to assume the BFV beta is going to be similar to BF1 beta. So sign up to get the beta a day early. Then its open to everyone iirc. So, what's the deal with the BFV beta? You only get access if you pre-order the game, right? Pre-ordered it from cdkeys but since they sell beta codes separately, I assume that I won't get one. I thought about canceling the pre-order anyway since I'll probably get Origin Access Premier.
My point being: will I get beta access through Origin Access Premier?
Last time I played on PC, I did notice some odd fps spikes. But I can check again when I have time to play.Since the update getting some crazy FPS spikes on PC. Anybody else getting the same? Was originally playing on a nix mix of high and medium for 55-60fps but even running everything on low I'm getting sometimes as low as 15 and highs at 40.
No one else?

I could always be wrong haha. DICE will prob mention something regarding the beta in a few weeks anyways.

If I delete BF1 from my PS4 and then redownlaod it will I lose my skins/scrap?
