Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer Map Leak and Other Leaks and Rumors

So Tom Henderson, a well known Battlefield and Call of Duty leaker, recently posted on twitter that Battlefield 2021 reveal trailer will show off a deserted island map. It could be set in Vietnam or Hawaii. And it will have a tornado/storm event and a rocket launching event. It's suppose to have 6-8 pilotable Ospreys. The map is supposedly a tropical jungle map with mountainous areas. It will be a 128 player map.

When is this reveal man i need to see this new BF ASAP. Im holding back reinstalling old BF games because i want to get 110% hyped for the new one

I feel like we are gonna get a lot more leaks and even some official teases from Dice as we get closer to the reveal.

The man is a known leaker and claims to know about the reveal trailer. He literally drew out what the reveal map will look like. And it looks like he has put some effort into it too. My hype levels are too damn high. I am happy with even the tiniest amount of info.

Didn't this leaker previously claim that the reveal trailer won't have any actual gameplay? This seems to contradict that.
I can also confirm that it would appear that the reveal trailer for BATTLEFIELD will not feature any gameplay, nor multiplayer, and will be somewhat similar to the beginning of the Battlefield V reveal trailer, which is something I'm sure we'll all be a little upset about.

Also, the rocket in the drawing refers to the herb for the spaghetti, right?

I'd take that to mean the rocket launch has to do with the conflict of the game?

I hope it's not Russia launching the rocket. IMO best way to do a modern conflict would be some rogue group setting off a powder keg that leads to conflict between the major powers. No "good" or "bad" guys except for the organization that starts the conflict.

The rocket launching event is part of the multiplayer map that will be in the reveal trailer. It could be a "levolution" event triggered by either team. And from Tom's leak, I am guessing that these specialist units in multiplayer can be from many different countries working either on the side of USA or Russia.

Huh, interesting.

Hopefully the storm indicates possible weather events for multiplayer maps. I remember the BF1 map that could have sandstorms and that was pretty awesome. Adding even more exteme weather that could occur would be a good way of making maps stay fresh.

Man, this seems like the "hopped up on red cordial" of ideas for a map.

Ok, ok so we've got rising waters, a rocket taking off, a tornado... might as well add a plane crash too while we're at it and the plane is full of apes with AK47s and they're on fire and... Oh god I'm on such a sugar bender.

    Weather events in multiplayer maps are already rumored to be in the game.

    If Outriders didn't, I don't think EA would be down for that, especially considering they still sell their own uniquely "VIP" Origin sub beyond the Steam/Game Pass version...with the biggest benefit being that you can play their deluxe PC games at launch.

    If natural disasters are being used more than once as a destruction mechanic, I wonder if the events aren't going to actually be "natural". Like maybe it's something like weather altering military technology? I would definitely be interested in them taking this angle in the campaign as well.
