Be honest, how much time did you spent on NES/SNES Classic?

I feel like everyone bought these systems but haven't actually played them that much.

Anyway, I bought the SNES Classic day one, spent about 2 hours on it. Bought NES Classic a few weeks ago and I haven't opened it yet.

I hacked the crap out of my SNES and then it's been sitting on a table for months.

Like, I literally put these amazing RPGs on there and spent all of my 60 minutes playing it on Cool Spot.

I still haven't even opened mine. I only bought them because I wanted to be part of the zeitgeist. I figure they'll make for good gifts in the future or something.

Once a week, my kids, me and wife, each get to pick one game, and we have a tournament , highest combined high score wins.

I am undefeated so far...take that kids!

I saw one at Target a few weeks ago so I picked it up and modded it. I'm playing through Mother 3 and a few other JRPGs on it at the moment, so a decent amount of time, actually.

Not much because I play my real snes instead. I’ve finished more snes games this year than modern ones too.

I'm actually currently going through the games on these in more or less chronological order.

On NES Classic, I've played:

- Donkey Kong
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Balloon Fight
- Ice Climbers
- Excitebike
- Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros.
- The Legend of Zelda
- A bit of Castlevania
- A bit of Ghosts 'n Goblins
- Metroid
- First 3 worlds of Kid Icarus

I've already played through all the Marios and Zeldas on NES, and all the cups in Super Mario Kart on SNES.

Will move on to a real earnest attempt at getting through the games on SNES Classic once I'm satisfied with what I've played on the NES.

Not a ton. But it's been fun for random itches now and then. Played quite a bit of Mario RPG over the past couple of weeks and had a great time.

I have hardly played my SNES classic. The issue is I just struggle to play games that are tethered to a TV now. My lifestyle is too busy with kids and everything where I just struggle to dedicate large chunks of time to sitting in front of my TV. The Switch has just changed my gaming habits.

Not much. Probably 5 hours on the NES and maybe 10 hours on the SNES.

I put probably something like 20 hours into Starfox 2 alone. Such an addicting game.

Recently did a complete run of Super Mario Bros. From 1-1 to 8-4 and everything in between.

Probably about 70 hours on my SNES classic, and that's having a PC which can emulate with zero input lag, way better CRT simulation, etc etc.

I've been helping my daughter make her way through Super Mario RPG (currently have 3 stars) , I'm like 75% done with Super Castlevania IV, played quite a bit of Street Fighter II.

On the NES classic, mostly just Bubble Bobble and Balloon Fight with my daughter. I think I've knocked out the first two worlds of Kirby.

I just got cable extensions for both, so I'll be giving them more solo time once I wrap up God of War. There are a few games on each that I'd like to complete. They're not going anywhere and the controls are the right size for my kiddo, so having them is easily worth it.

About 2 minutes with the NES before I put it back in the box. Opened the SNES to check out the actual unit and controller feel, but didn't even hook it up. I bought them more for the novelty than anything. All my retro gaming is done on actual hardware or PC/RetroPie.

Well the classic systems inspired me to build a Retro Pi, as I loved the idea of a mini console but disliked the limited collection of games, and in the last year I've beaten 9 pretty long games on it

I think if I went with a SNES classic I'd have just replayed LTTP and FFVI and then put it away

If I bought them I doubt I would have put much time in them. Now, if a SNES classic RPG edition was released, I would be all over that.

I only put like 5 hours into my nes classic, so I skipped the snes classic altogether since I don't have as much nostalgia for it.

that said, idI be in for an n64 classic, or some kind of non-shitty genesis classic with a fake sega channel frontend

I played my SNES Classic not too long ago. I like the save states and make some of the action games a little more user friendly and forgiving.

F-Zero on save states is a blessing. As are Castlevania games. Of course, I could use an emulator, but the controller just feels so good.

I need to make my way through Mystical Ninja, sometime.

Yeah I learned my lesson from xbox arcade games on the 360. Old games just don't cut it anymore. I don't think these all in one retro consoles are marketed towards "gamers" at all, more towards people that haven't touched a video game since they owned a NES in the 80's

So far, about 3 hours on the SNES since I bought it. Played some Super Metroid for the first time and started DKC, but haven't returned since. It's not that I don't really like it, I just always have new games to play and review, so my time left to actually sit and play the things I want to play is... limited to nonexistent.

Yeah, I probably would have been better off if they had put those roms on a switch cart and sold it as the SNES classic collection.

On SNES mini, I've sunk a couple hours each into Super Metroid, SMW, DKC, and Zelda: ALttP,

On NES mini, I've only played about an hour each of Zelda 2, SMB1, SMB3, and Ninja Gaiden.

0 hours on NES, maybe 2-3 hours on SNES. I do want to play quite a few games on the SNES though, I just haven't really had time.

I've played the SNES Classic a good deal. Replayed Super Metroid and ALTTP, played through all of SMW for the first time and about to start DKC. There are several more games on there that I aim to play/replay in the coming years.

Spent about 15-20 hours on the NES mini
Spent about 30-40 hours on the SNES mini, but I stopped because I was enjoying so much I decided to take it to the next level and buy a Super NT and SD2SNES to do the same thing with better compatibility

they were great.

A few weeks on both the NES and SNES classic, they are cool to have but I already played most of these games when they were new.

I played like 10 hours of Earthbound on my SNES Classic and then got distracted and never finished my run. Hacked it, played like 5-20 minutes of this and that, haven't really touched it much beyond that.

I got a NES Classic when the reprints went out, hacked it, played like 10 minutes of Mega Man 1, and also haven't played that since.

Maybe I should play these...

I've actually been using my SNES Classic mainly to play Game Boy games on my TV. I probably just should have bought a Game Boy.
