Beating up an annoying feminist in Red Dead Redemption 2

Yeah, I get it. "Satire." I also get violence against civilians isn't strictly encouraged in Rockstar games but actually it kind of is. When you make NPCs shrill characatures of certain groups of people, you're encouraging players to live out their violent fantasies against these groups.

What purpose does an NPC like this in RDR2 serve other than to say "lol, feminists."

Arthur helps out a group of feminists in the story for an entire mission. Yeah, they're kinda played up for laughs but you're driven to help them. Arthur's even probably more obliged NOT to help them because the town you're doing it in is heavily against these protests and you're trying to be on their good side. But the game forces (for lack of a better term) you to help them.

So... this is an odd narrative you're pushing.

Have you actually played the game? Rockstar paints those women in a very positive light while those that oppose their views are painted negatively. Arthur for example is very much on the side of the women. But the game is open-world and they allow you to kill anyone you want.

Yeah, I did the same and it it boosted my honor level by a significant amount. I also saw a video of someone taking a feminist all the way to the swamp area with the alligators. That person fed the feminist to the alligators. The video got loads of likes to. Disgusting is the only word for that kind of behaviour.

I lover Arthur's interaction with Lenny, as Lenny tell him some of the troubles he had for being a man of color. And Arthur pretty much tell Lenny he's a good man, and that he's happy to have him as partner.
