Because I can't just readily identify what is or isn't music unless someone gives me a theory that tells me what to think...
We all know he's fundamentally reasoning that because he doesn't like it, it isn't music ("I don't like chocolate, therefore it's not food") and just reaching for any "evidence" to support his belief. What great facts and logic.

I'm not a fan of rap music and I don't know who that man is, but music has a few more qualities other than just melody, harmony and rhythm.

Right." when I connected that the weirdly transphobic, political pedant Ben Shapiro that suddenly showed up everywhere, was also the dude who I had heard now and then a few years ago, whose main shtick was to listen to snippets of rap-music, and "break down" how illogical the lyrics were, and how the grammar wasn't academically correct.

If you go back and look at his writings/tweets circa 2012 you can really see what a racist piece of trash he is. He's obviously tried to button it up as he rose to prominence, but it still leaks out.
