well, for me, it was certainly GTA 5. Was an awesome year though, lots of fantastic games.

That would be Last of US, but I got to play a lot of really good games that year: Antichamber, Fez, Dark Arisen, Gone Home, The Swapper and the fantastic Risk of Rain.

SMT 4 for me. Such an addictive game. I think I put like 200 hours into it? 2013 was great in general tho, especially for 3ds owners.

It was a really tough call for me between A Link Between Worlds, The Last of Us and Super Mario 3D World. Three amazing but very different games.

When I did my Top 10 that year, I put ALBW at #1 in what was essentially a coin flip with The Last of Us, but if I had to do it again now I'd go with TLOU. ALBW really resonated with me at the time and I still feel very strongly about that game, but it hasn't stuck with me over the years in the same way that The Last of Us has.

I'm leaning towards SM3DW but the more I think about it the more I remember how awesome ALBW is.

They're the perfect complement to one another.

And they released on the same goddamn day.

Well I played Metal Gear Rising on 360 so... That makes Microsoft the Best Game of 2013.

Leaning towards Pikmin 3. The Last of Us and A Link Between Worlds were great, too. There's probably a less popular game I'm forgetting, though.
