We all know that Bethesda's support for the Switch has been among the strongest of any third party publisher, even more so than many of Nintendo's usual Japanese partners. It began with Skyrim being announced along with the console back in October 2016, and then this past September they announced ports of DOOM and Wolfenstein 2 for the console as well. This after years (if not decades) of literally no support for Nintendo consoles.

This has me thinking- could this support be predicated by a licensing deal that Nintendo has struck with Bethesda? What other reason could they have for such a sudden shift in support? We know Nintendo has no problems lending out their IPs to western publishers- look at Ubisoft with Mario + Rabbids (and how successful it was). I'm betting there's a pretty solid chance Bethesda is also working on a Nintendo property.

So the question then, what Nintendo IP do you think Bethesda could be working on, and what Bethesda developer do you think it might be? EDIT: Also try to explain your answers (why you want X or Y) to encourage some more interesting discussion.

It's not really Bethesda's MO to work on an IP they don't own and can't bring to multiple platforms.
