Totally uninspiring as mayor, personally offputting and running for vanity and exposure now that his time in office is almost done. New Yorkers sure aren't asking him to do this, he's been testing the waters for what seems like years and no one cares. Bending over for Amazon was the last straw, your progressive rhetoric falls flat when you pull shit like that behind closed doors.

Technically, having Amazon here would've brought in massive amounts of money into the city which would've funded more social programs and allowed city workers to get better contracts and more raises as well allowed for more hiring of city employees.

I see you've read his response to the critics of his role in the deal :D Only coming from him there'd be a lot more condescension and finger pointing to go along with it.

And the subways would still be shit, so New Yorkers didn't give a shit, and rightfully so

It's laughable to think that money was going to be put to good use otherwise

Waste of time and money.

The Dem candidates with any chance are Biden v Sanders and Biden appears to be pulling ahead.

Everyone else is basically just a VP candidate at this point.

de Blasio's running for office so he can run away before New Yorkers run him out. Sounds about right.

Those other things I listed. Subways would be fucked anyway at least OT wouldn't have been slashed the way it was. Plus the city could hire more. Of course this is all speculation on my part and all theoretical.

New Yawk City!
Yes yes, you'll be a great candidate, Bill! People will love you once your petty feud with a petty Governor is discussed NATIONALLY.

They'll really trust you once they hear more about a years-long backlog of repairs and lead paint lies at NYCHA. And the subways! The traffic jams! The rising rents and predatory landlord class that rules with terror! The police brutality and the horror show of Rikers Island, which will never ever end.

You'll be perfect, dude.

Boy bye.
