This is such a good song. Tragic that they would pass over Shirley Bassey of all people to woo hot artists with audiences that don't give a fuck about Bond.
It's okk. Better than Sam Smith's, that's for damn sure but I don't think you can top Adel's Skyfall.
I mean, opinions are what they are but you know...you and I don't have similar ones. I legit think Skyfall is the BEST Bond title song, also I think you're crazy for thinking it's bad but it's alright haha.
Digging it. Took a little bit to get there but the instrumentation is great, her voice is very fitting and the chorus is already stuck in my head after 2-3 times. Definitely a great theme.
A step up from Sam Smith's song, but it's a little meh.

Liking this a lot. My favorite of the Craig Bond films. Possibly up there with my favorite bond themes. But nothing is close to Nobody Does it Better. Radiohead did a great live version of that song as well.
I like it a lot more than like 2 of the other Craig Bond theme songs. Its under You Know My Name and Skyfall though. I like how airy Eilish's voice is. A shame post-Skyfall everything has to be slow again though. Would have been nice to have a more up tempo theme.
probably my favourite of the craig themes but it still doesnt come close to the classic bond themes. better than a lot from brosnans themes to but not better than goldeneye though.
EDIT: just listened to the craig ones again and i really like casino royales, quantums is good but just not a bond theme, skyfall starts off well but i just dont like it, spectres is boring and just reminds me of shitting blood.

Definitely. Maybe I'm too old, but nothing she has put out seems exceptional in anyway. I was surprised when she got the gig, and unsurprised how it's turned out. It's not bad, but it's not a top 10 theme either.
I've listened to it like 30 times now and I can say it's good. Not an all-timer but very solid.

It's in keeping with other Craig themes. Whether that good or bad is your personal preference. I think they are all terrible aside from Skyfall which is just OK.

I think for that film it was supposed to be Amy Winehouse and it fell through with a few weeks to go, Jack White was an emergency job.
This Shirley Bassey number was written a few years later by Arnold. it's a cracking song, she always gives me a little tingle with her voice.
^yeah Spectre is their biggest fuck up tune wise, Radiohead makes that octopus shit really creepy and it works much better than the shite they chose.
I assure you this franchise goes off a cliff during everyone's tenure at some point. I'd say Craig has remained mostly on the road by comparison.

My god that was boring. Billie Eilish likes to talk her way through yet another song but doesn't have the sheer gravitas as an Adele etc to pull of anything remotely memorable.

The last 3 sound the same, they are not exciting at all.
And the BEST?? Not even the best Craig, Chris won't be beaten.
As for classics, that cannot be a serious statement.
I think Billie's made more exciting songs than this for sure, but she's way more interesting both as a writer and performer than Adele
