Alright cool that's good to know. So something a bit more immediate though, I've got 118 AP and 148 DP on my sorceress and 124 accuracy and I'm trying to farm out the Asula's pieces so I'm at helms and elric's shrine. However it's roouughh out here, despite the thing recommending at minimum 110 AP It's taking ages to kill things and if I pull certain enemies it's basically time to run lol. I'm using all of my sorc's strongest abilities off cool down so I'm not quite sure what's going on here, how can I smooth this grind out lol. This is like "full attention" kind of difficult.
What level are you? Are you awakened and do you have skill add ons? Since you are farming accessories the more immediate things to upgrade would be the awakening weapon followed by the main hand then the offhand. Your armor is a bit low as well, first PRI then DUO as you go up. The first set is always going to be difficult. Rather than trying to upgrade every piece I suggest you pick maybe 2 or 3 and buy the rest. You can get the Roaring armor chest piece from the Black Spirit quests. It gives you the Dim Magic armor or something like that and it upgrades to 60DP IIRC. You can also use the free offhand weapon given in the same manner. It gives a little AP and about 18 DP I think. It isn't great but it is a decent enough option to allow you to prioritize other areas a bit.
At Helms, avoid the big Metal guy. That is a bad fight at your AP/DP. If you DO fight him, be sure to use your guard with the Scythe, you press RMB to slam the scythe down and enter a guard stance.
At Elrics, I struggled there for a bit but once I got into a rhythm it was ok. The little red cape dudes will kick your shit at range. I usually target them first because they go down pretty quick but also because if I don't see them and they hit me in the back it hurts. They also have knockback which is annoying.
If the enemies are higher level than you (purple) having higher accuracy will also help a lot.
If you want some immediate accessories, Red Coral Rings are cheap and pretty good value early on and remain pretty good backups. I suppose it also depends on how much you want to spent. If you want to buy a weapon, green tri awakening is a good start that should last quite a while. DUO is also an option. I wouldn't go lower than that.
