Want to build my first PC this year while saving as much money as possible after spending years thinking about buying one but never following through. Guess it's time to start doing research.

I don't have high hopes for deals here in Canada. With our weak dollar these sale events have become lets clear out the shit no one buys sales.

Not looking for any tech deals this time. Hoping the Cuisinart 14 cup food processor and All-Clad pans to get some nice deals.

HM has two sales per year - the second one should coincide with Black Friday. 15% off usually. Will work at all dealers and not just their own store.

Just going to put this out there, i have a friend that works in Best Buy, he gets lots of the Vizio PQ series tv returned a lot. Things like hdmi ports going crazy and panel issues. I have also browsed online and have found lots of other software issues with this tv, i was heavily debating getting this one or the 65 Sony x900f. Need to keep a look out for deals on that Sony set

86' TV? Damn that would be nice. Those smaller ones for 400 bucks are tempting though. Too bad they probably won't be available in Canada :(
They're shit TVs usually though. Black Friday TV deals are all about shit tier TVs drawing you in from low prices.

Not expecting actual black friday ads for this, but I'm only thing I'm looking out for is discounted GTX 1070TIs and iPad Pro 10.5 (2017).

Oh nice! Any dealers out there that are cheaper than HM's store, or are they all the same price everywhere?
Usually all the same price. Unless you know someone in the interior design business or architects. They get great discounts from HM (upto 50% I believe).

I do see Aerons a lot at property disposition stores and on craigslist/ebay for great prices. Embody/Cosm etc are harder to find so the 15% discount is attractive.

OK, let's try this out

For now, we will allow scans/leaks of Black Friday ads to be discussed/posted here, as the 'no scans' rule generally applies to magazines/comic books/things that cost money.

We may revisit this, but we'll try this out for now and see if it works.

Shit tier is relative to what you already have. If I'm upgrading from a 12 year old 720p set with one hdmi port then a shit tier 2018 model is leaps and bounds better than what I have.

Wow. You can really feel the retailer desperation this year. x-mas crap started showing up in stores Aug/Sept, and now black Friday stuff before November.

True but depending on your budget the TV you buy doesn't necessarily need to be shit. There is a good relatively affordable TV like the TCL R617 that may be on sale elsewhere when the ads drop. It's currently $650 on amazon but I anticipate a $100 drop for BF.

Is there a way to look-up the Costco TVs in the ad to see which ones they are exactly?
Plug the item number you see in the ads right into the search bar on costco.com

Also does anyone know how to copy and paste into eretera without the font changing to some giant letters and stuff?
