She was barely even a character though. They're going to drop Grace Choi before even really doing anything with her?
yep
She's an actual reasonably prominent superhero though
The actress who plays Grace said she was coming back, not sure if or how much her role gets expanded. They're going to drop Grace Choi before even really doing anything with her?
in the comics. not in the show
Oh really, no shit?
lol chill fam not that srs..
A shame if they do. I really liked the actress. They weren't doing much with her in season 1. Maybe she got a more solid role elsewhere. Or maybe she will still show up and they don't want to rush it.They're going to drop Grace Choi before even really doing anything with her?
The first three episode titles were revealed, guess they're sticking with "the book of" theme for the titles
I know the show used green light to make reference to the crack epidemic, but I wasn't expecting the phrase green light babies to be used.
Yeah, that is not what it means. They are simply creating their own world with a lot of characters in it. There is not going to be a Lightningverse alongside the Arrowverse and the Titanverse. So it looks like the intent is to create their own "Lightningverse" wit Black Lightning.

I mean it's a Superhero TV show ...it's still pretty cool compared to the Arrowverse shows running right now.

Only the show tackles that, they don't see him, they see lightning. Which is a lot more concealing than a clearly blind superhero (considering he covers his eyes)Maybe I'm just used to Marvel SH shows. It never dawned on me until now how much a mask helps to conceal identity when you have this SH running around who anyone should instantly recognize if they've seen him as not Black Lightning. It's so glaring it borders on comedic.
I feel like I'm the only person who remembers the scene where Jennifer is trying to explain what it's like to look at his face. She says it hurts to look at and then compares it to a spotlight.Maybe I'm just used to Marvel SH shows.
