The entire first half.
Around half.
Jeez that's significant, that'll have huge implications for speed runs. Hope it's at the next Games Done Quick to see it!
Amazing time save. Looking forward to seeing this at summer games done quick.
I wouldn't think so? The trigger to get the DLC is defeating Vicar Amelia, which is early already as is though. Will this get me to the DLC faster. I'm actually downloading it right now to play the DLC and wasn't sure how much of the game I had to replay.

That's what I'm wondering. What happens if you go back into the chapel from there? Do you get to meet real Iosefka?
For pure main story progression, yes. But it likely won't unlock dlc access.Does this skip vicar amalia?
Asking for a friend that can't ever beat her.
The friend is me.
iirc real and fake Iosefka have different modelsThat's what I'm wondering.
Probably same character model I imagine.
If you can't beat vicar I wouldn't recommend trying to bypass. You're not gonna have a good time.Does this skip vicar amalia?

All considered, it probably makes it harder hehe.Any glitch to make the game super easy so I can finally finish it

Ironically no as the way to get to the dlc is the same way you get to the forbidden woods normally, beat Vicar AmeliaWill this get me to the DLC faster. I'm actually downloading it right now to play the DLC and wasn't sure how much of the game I had to replay.

You need to defeat Vicar Amelia and trigger the cutscene after (where you touch the skull) to access the DLC so I don't think this will help.
If you are going for NG+ you can kill the first bosses super quickly so it shouldn't take you that much time anyway.
If you are starting a new playthrough the DLC will be really rough though if you go straight to it.
Alright, thanks. I'll go the NG+ route and just work my way to Vicar.Attempting the DLC at low level is madness either way. By the time you unlock it normally you'll still be significantly underleveled iirc.

She's the first boss that really forces you to get all up in there, if you arent acclimated to that yet she can wreck your assIs Vicar that tough? It took me a few tries but I'd put them on the easier end of bosses in Bloodborne.
No, Vicar is fairly easy.Is Vicar that tough? It took me a few tries but I'd put them on the easier end of bosses in Bloodborne.
That's not true to everybody in my experience.
All considered, it probably makes it harder hehe.
Forbidden Woods is no joke, specially the second half.
Well sure, it wouldn't be a souls game if people didn't have trouble on different bosses. I would say however, on average, Vicar is among the easier half for most people. That's not true to everybody in my experience.
Up til recently (currently on my 5th playthrough) she was amongst my hardest, alongside Ebrietas, Orphan of Kos and (Nightmare) Laurence.
Otoh I found Logarius, Ludwig, Rom and Paarl very doable, while I have read they give nightmares to some.
This being said, on my last 2 runs I beat her first try.
I would like to know too. What happens if you go back into the chapel from there? Do you get to meet real Iosefka?
I assume the game will probably load the next stage of her quest when you enter through the back entrance and proceed as "normal"What happens if you go back into the chapel from there? Do you get to meet real Iosefka?
I remember the one that you had to jump to the other side of the wall from where the big boy roams.
