Big off-topic but Majoras Mask on the Zelda Collection on GameCube is unstable as fuck.I've had Super Mario Odyssey crash on me. Also Civilization VI.
I've never had any Nintendo game crash on me so honestly I was pretty surprised when Odyssey crashed and I had to reload the game.
Any reason you left out Xbone version? I'd imagine it runs the best since it has X support, is there something up with it too?I'm toughing it out and attempting to make it through this bogus port (I'd estimate I'm about 50% through the game), but for anyone stumbling into this thread wondering if they should get the Switch version - Nope, go for PC or PS4.

Much less of a shitstorm than releasing a buggy-ass mess of a port, I assure you.I'm pretty sure I read in the OT or somewhere that the Xbox One release has some pretty big problems too.
Can you imagine the shitstorm if they had delayed the SW release even more?

Well, I give the devs a bit of slack in the fact that the Switch was unheard of and the Wii U was winding down fast at the outset of this game's Kickstarter. It was simply unrealistic to expect the Switch version to be given much priority to begin with. That being said, it was no secret how successful the Switch became and why so many backers chose that version. That was when the team should've shifted gears and prioritized the development on that version, but clearly, that didn't happen. If it did, I'm sure it, or maybe even all versions, would've been delayed.I'm not so sure about that.
Anyways, the Wii U / SW port always sounded dubious when the game was in Kickstarter and development phase. In spite of that I always thought they would have at least some plan of making it happen in a realistic way, even if some sacrifices would have to be made.
Eh it'll come. Game is totally playable. Like the article says, can't just flip a switch.
I'm playing on Xbox one X since the switch version is such garbage and I've already had two crashes. A glitch where Miriam's head disappears and locks the game, and the frame drops are ridiculous. They really should have waited six months and polished this game up.I'm pretty sure I read in the OT or somewhere that the Xbox One release has some pretty big problems too.

It sucks. I'm up to 8 crashes across two different Xbox one Xs in my house. Last night my son tried to start a game and it was crashing when he put in his name.Damn, that sounds nasty.
It's unfortunate that not everyone can play this game in the way it was meant to be depending on which platform they chose. The PS4 release didn't have any problems for me, and the game is a joy to play. It is an incredible game no question and a very strong contender for my GOTY, I'm basically 99% sure it's my number one game of the year.
They already delayed the game a lot, but maybe they should have delayed those versions even more, and just released the PS4 version for now because it was obviously in a better state. There would be been a huge shitstorm, but now the situation is detracting from a game that is really a masterpiece in game design.
The silver lining is that at least it's not a Mighty no 9 situation. The actual game is superb and the design is really impressive, and the bugs of the other versions are something that can be fixed, instead of the game itself being bad.

The biggest issue for me on a personal level is this is the game I've been waiting for since SotN. SotN is one of my favorite games of all time and right now I'm having a tremendously hard time enjoying bloodstained because it feels like it barely had any QA done to it. I know this game is supposed to be great but right now it feels like store brand cereal rather than the real deal. I hope it gets better as they fix the game but right now I feel completely ripped off and it's tainting the entire experience.
