Another God of War 1-3 remaster doesn't make any sense, if for no other reason than the fact that it would conflict with the new direction the series has taken with God of War (2018) and the inevitable sequel that will be on PS5. Add to that that there has already been a trilogy remaster relatively recently, and it's pretty obvious a God of War 1-3 remaster is not going to happen.
All these things you're saying doesn't mean we can't and shouldn't do it. Medievil is getting a remake its not like they have to be this picky and choosy about it. God of war 1 especially has some issues, need I remind you of a certain section involving spinning blades you have to climb up.
This isn't even my dream pick I just think it makes since if they want a large project that would sell very well.
I didn't caught the part they said the game was exclusive, they said it will be on ps5. I could be wrong though.
I feel like if this is an exclusive, and a launch title, Sony may want a remake/revision of a classic Sony brand/IP.

Quality or performance (60FPS) or performance VRR mode
Ray tracing
Better post-processing techniques
Improving the original quality of the assets... just better quality everything LOL
It's a game owned by Sony/PS, not really FS. FS wouldn't really have to be involved at all with a remaster.It kinda makes more sense to me than a Demon's Souls remaster/remake, in a way.

A remaster would be very disappointing compared to a remake, and Bloodborne doesn't need a remake. If a different studio remasters BB that would be cool.
I don't see the need of remaking a current-gen game, a patch just like we see PS4Pro/XB1X Enhanced patches would be enough.

Well, I agree. However. It should just be SOCOM.
And incorporate stuff from Socom 2, 3, Combined Assault and Confrontation. The later ones for sure had complaints. However, they added a lot of great stuff like the spec ops coop mode in CA, the maps overall through the series. Vehicles were hit or miss but it had its moments. I remember some epic jeep escapes and tank battles on Killing Fields, Crucible and Devils Road. It had its great moments.
Ideally.. Idk.. If you ask me. The customization of Confrontation with the maps and modes of the earlier entries plus more... And a 2020 paint job. It would be sick.
OK. Sony is gonna give random special mention to multiplat why exactly? Not sure why you wouldn't believe it since their last three games have been PS4 exclusives and Jason Schreier beleives it Demon's Souls. I think they will be acquired as well.
Bluepoint's past years and being mentioned together with new PS5 infos, sounds imo very much like another Sony/Bluepoint partnership.
And I believe Sony will acquire them before PS5 launch.
It'd be weird if it's not considering Bluepoint Game's President showed up with Sony to share all these PS5 details with Wired.
Plus the last Wired PS5 info drop featured Insomniac Games, then 6 months later, Insomniac Games joins PlayStation so.

The MGS HD collection is amazing.
I didn't play it until this year because I wanted to replay those games and MGS2 HD is one of the best looking game on PS3.
It's possible but we can't assume that unless we have evidence that suggests it, considering that they haven't done that before

At this point in time I kinda wish Sony would just pony up the cash and flat out buy Bluepoint as an in-house remaster/remake studio.

Gravity Rush Remastered was my first time playing the game and it is one of my favorite games ever. I am sure all the great technical work they did played a big part in that.

Well, it's on PS4 if you want to play it. I'd recommend it's vastly superior sequel, however.
I played Dark Cloud for the first time on PS4 a few years ago. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Looking forward to playing the sequel soon!
Man i would i would fucking die for a MGS remake. Any of them. But i'll settle for Demon Soul since i never played it and it was one of my long regrets. I honestly don't think it's that though.
I could definitely see Sony remaking the original God of War trilogy eventually... but they wont do it now. God of War Part II will be probably out by Holiday 2021. And them the next one before 2025. They could wait to finish the norse trilogy and then BOOM they hit us with a nostalgia splash remaking the Greek Trilogy
I'd kind of love a remake of the original Killzone that brings it more in line with it's more modern entries. The original is pretty dated at this point, and could use some touch ups. It could help bring the multiplayer for the series back into the spotlight as well.

Demon's seems to be too dear to Miyazaki to be handle to another team since fromsoft are probably too busy with their new game to supervise the planning of demon's remake

Vagrant story would be beyond epic but alas it would have to something more well known among the masses I feel.
