I'm going to need a bit of a walkthrough for this one
I think its about microplastics
I don't get it. The kid is holding a water bottle. Saying that she has an "even smaller wireless device" means that the kid is also holding a wireless device. What?
Is she suggesting the girl should drink swimming pool water?
Is the girl supposed to be holding a bottle of water or smart phone? Whichever it is that punchline doesn't make sense. If it's a water bottle, I'm not sure how acting like having access to a pool full of Chlorine that people swim in daily is some kind of comeback to someone needing a portable drink. If it's a phone then that punchline is even more out there because, why the fuck are you even brining up access to a pool for someone carrying a phone?
This one criticizes a thing that I don't like which makes it good
The only thing I can think of is the kid is asking the mum to buy her a bottle of water.
This has gotta be an edit. "GALLONS OF WATER" is quite blurry which it shouldn't be, even with emphasis. Also "POOL PASS" looks way more aliased than the rest of the text.
Oh, yeah. The water bottle is probably an edit, too. The original joke is probably about a library pass and books. This has gotta be an edit. "GALLONS OF WATER" is quite blurry which it shouldn't be, even with emphasis. Also "POOL PASS" looks way more aliased than the rest of the text.
Ahh, yes, I remember this too.Replying to myself. I remember this comic now. The girl's holding a phone or Kindle or something and it's actually: "...thousands of books." "It's a library card."
It literally is. The original is about library cards:This has gotta be an edit. "GALLONS OF WATER" is quite blurry which it shouldn't be, even with emphasis. Also "POOL PASS" looks way more aliased than the rest of the text.
It literally is. The original is about library cards:
Yall are the real boomers here
This is a genius edit because it feels authentically incomprehensible
It literally is. The original is about library cards:

Does STAHLER know you can access libraries on tablets? Who's to say... 🤔It literally is. The original is about library cards:
Yall are the real boomers here
Oddly wholesome, dad's son gets to help him just as he did as a child.
Not sure that one really fits - it's actually quite sweet and isn't mocking the younger person or technology?
this is the first time something in this thread has sparked joy so tyYeah, I think it's a cute comic. I like posting the good Boomer comics to help offset all the "Father, why can't I tap the book?" ones.
