Depends what's on screen really. With my 9900k and a GTX 1080, I get a solid 60fps at 1080p. However last week in the slaughterhouse I was using chain Zane and destroyed about 10 enemies at once. My fps tanked! Very rare though.
I'm sort of obsessed with this game at the moment. Which is surprising, because neither Borderlands 1 or 2 ever clicked with me. But I'm having a blast with 3 so far. I did not, however, enjoy the 5-phase Warden boss fight and I hear that it isn't even the worst boss battle in the game.
My Xbox shuts off a few times a week from Borderlands. It happens the most when i try to join someone in Sanctuary, no idea why. Other people can join me in Sanctuary just fine but when i try to join them, it will load for a few seconds but then entire console will shut off.
Yeah, apparently that's the issue XB1 owners are having, specifically XB1X. Gearbox has claimed that it's a hardware issue but were looking at the issue as of late-January.

Not sure if it was mentioned before, but they will reveal the 2nd DLC campaign this Thursday. Can't wait to see what it is! I want to see more of Brick, Tina and Mordecai, hope they'll be in one of them.
There's a lot of loot that only drop in there, including class mods.
Aside from the drops, there's 2 very good guns you get from doing side activities....but I wouldn't do those until max level. They're one and done like the Typhon Logs and Claptraps, so I don't think you can get them again in TVHM.
I waited until I was 53 farming M3 before doing any sidequests or DLC, so that's perfect!
What class? For Zane, pretty much the most OP mod drops from dlc.
As far as weapons, my favorite gun from the dlc is the Craps pistol. Again, for Zane, the 100% bonus cryo anointment plus sticky mode on the pistol just melts enemies. Higher chance of dropping from final dlc boss i believe. Pretty much ditched maggie once i got this pistol.
ION Cannon is another sought after dlc weapon, i think it's like the 3rd to last dlc boss you fight that has a higher chance of dropping that one. Insanely powerful.
I think the Ion Cannon is a guaranteed drop (unless they changed it). I've farmed that boss though for a x2 variant though
Yeah i think you're right. I know i've farmed it a ton though for the proper anointment. Gets to a point where you just ignore all drops that aren't anointed, lol.
I have a corrosive launcher with huge clip capacity that I'm loving in the casino. Allows me to take out piles and piles of robots with little to no downtime.

Okay, thanks. So nothing of a higher item level? I'm trying out level 2 and it makes some of the enemies seem like ridiculous bullet sponges, not really enjoying it.
You shouldn't try the higher Mayhem levels unless you're full of lvl 50-53 legendaries, have a couple guardian ranks and possibly anointments on top of that(especially for Mayhem 3 and 4) My Moze is pretty geared up with her best legendaries, good anointments everywhere(even on shield and grenade) and have unlocked every guardian ranks perks except the last Hunter one and Mayhem 3 is stupidly easy.

sounds like I might be in a bit over my head then. I only like one gun I have and it's a 583 anointed legendary. I hate my shield and my grenade as well lol
It's a code typically posted on Gearbox/Borderlands' or Randy Pitchford's social media. You input the code in-game via pausing and going to the social tab. From there you navigate to where you input the shift code as they're called. Once the code is redeemed, you go to your reward history and see your keys are there. Redeem them and they'll be delivered to your mail (also in the social tab).
Bam, you got keys to open the chest. Some would suggest you wait until you're endgame to use them. Others prefer getting cool loot from it to play with while they progress through the game. Your call.
Yeah, I just tried my Fire Lob on Gradient of Dawn(the Proving Grounds with all the bugs), and literally everything, even badasses, died on a single click on Mayhem 3.
I'm surprised it doesn't cost like 3-4-5-6 ammo per shot, considering it's a shotgun with 7k+ damage, nearly the same elemental damage and shoots 3 goddamn suns that goes through enemies. My Moze with all her regenerating ammo skills never had to worry about reloading even with the low magazine size.
Edit : Lol, I just fought 3 anointed enemies at the same time, they couldn't last more than a few secs with this gun. And it took me less than 20 mins for 5 rounds of Slaugther Shaft. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets nerfed someday. Curious to try this on Mayhem 4 now...

Thanks for explaining that in such detail it's much appreciated, I'll keep levelling for now and see how it goes, I am enjoying the game a lot more than I thought I would, I've not played since Borderlands 1.
Worth mentioning, if you sync up with the Borderlands website, you can just paste the codes in there. Much easier than typing them out on console.
Only finally getting a chance to jump into the game and definitely not going over all the balance changes since launch. Can anyone give me a more fresh opinion on the class? I am only going to be playing solo, so interested to know what are good solo classes and builds? I remember Fl4k being torn apart around launch because the pets were useless.
So... um... did they just released a rollback on the Lob that I missed?
It nows throw a single "ball" instead of 3, and most of the stats have been severily nerfed compared to my previous screenshot from 2 days ago. Even the anointment on this gun and my Wedding Invitation went from 75% bonus damage to 20%. I mean, I get it, the gun was OP, but so disappointing that it only lasted for a few days.

But I already had the hotfix the other day? Does it not stay up, or do I always have to wait in the main menu for a little while everytime I start up the game?
Edit : Uh, ok. I just went back to the main menu, saw the "hotfix applied" warning was already there and loaded up again, and now it's back to the OP Lob.
