Brazil antitrust regulator to reassess Disney-Fox deal

Before people get confused by the title I should say that this has everything to do with Fox Sports Brazil and nothing else.

Probably not that interesting a topic for most people, but I figured it was worth a thread.

If you remember Disney was required to divest Fox Sports Brazil there, but it seems like the regulatory body is reassessing the situation. I like how the word "tried" is in quotes. It's possible that they will let Disney keep the asset which is the best case scenario for them.

The companies "tried" to comply with the request, but had not succeeded, the regulator said.

Cade head Alexandre Barreto said the reassessment will consider "other options," without giving details.
