Since you appear to be having trouble. The bold is a conspiracy that is not proven in any way. Charging someone in a grand jury does not make them guilty.

I have seen police drop stuff before because it wasn't deemed worth it to pursue, ie. no violence or threat to the public and not worth resources to continue, easy plea done instead. The whole reason of requesting to seal a case is that you don't want the public to know something regarding that case.

A sealed grand jury testimony and a sealed special report have nothing to do with one another. Equating the two is dumb at best

Regardless of whether you think he is innocent or guilty I think everyone can agree that just looks bad from the outside given the way it was handled.

I mean, regardless of what side you fell on in this mess, the one thing I think everyone agreed on at one point or another was how weird it was that we kept getting so many leaks in real time. It was clear somebody was fucking up.
