No, it means that trump's son admitting to colluding with russians on behalf the campaign is not proof that the campaign colluded with russians and Muller, it turns out, is a fucking hack.
Between this and the implied non-traditional route for prosecution, things feel very interesting.

Cnn: mueller report says that there is no beyond a reasonable doubt case for obstruction. Mueller had circumstantial evidence but he could not say potus committed obstruction without concrete intent and proof
The investigation couldn't even prove obstruction of justice. Whatever the media had done, this came up pretty good for Trump, all things considered.
Democrats will subpoena the report and/or Mueller will testify.

I agree, but the Repubs always cheat. Dodgy voting machines, preventing people from voting, etc, etc. Gonna be tough, but at least the midterms recently showed it's possible to win.

Mueller could lay out evidence that Trump obstructed justice, but because of his standing as POTUS be unable to conclusively say that it was a crime - hence batting it to the politicians as the question of whether a President can be prosecuted in the same way as a normal citizen isn't one he wants to touch?
I read the whole thing. No collusion, but maybe obstruction. Mueller refuses to commit on an answer and leaves it in the hand of the AG, who of course says there was no obstruction. This is not gonna get Trump impeached.

It always came down to 2020. The people who worked themselves into a lather thinking that this was going to end with Trump and his goons being escorted in handcuffs were always setting themselves up for disappointment.

The punt on obstruction is just bewildering. I just feel so damn discouraged by this entire affair.
The letter itself is a "win" for Trump. It is the comey letter on steroids, even if it doesn't actually change anything because of later hearings and investigations.
If the letter was out a few days before the election it would be a "win" for the GOP.
