My Dell 15 7577 bought in 2018, this one is for NYC pick up ONLY. I used this laptop every day since 2018, it's upgraded to 16gb of RAM and it has an additional 500gb SSD with the 256gb NvME drive. It has a 1060 maxq 6gb with an i5 7300HQ, and I've been running most games at high settings without a problem (new games work at highest settings but capped to 30fps), used it for VR a lot too. Noise levels are like every "gaming" laptop, so don't expect a silent lamb. The lid is covered in a bunch of pop culture stickers which I can remove before you pick it up. I still have the box it came in so you can have that too. Will have pictures next time I repost this. Reason for selling: I'm switching to a desktop build and I don't need a powerful laptop to collect dust.

As far as I know, it hasn't changed, unless you sending international, or some sort of currency difference with conversion, which will have different fees.
It's in the US. Item is being sent from San Francisco to Seattle. The item's price is $7, so I sent $8. Seller said I was still short by $1, so I sent more.
Hmmmm, then I'm not sure.
I just sent money not too long ago, regular payment using that same formula, and it worked out to that formula, so not sure what's wrong with the transaction.

Sure it wasn't a calculation error? Might be easier to just use a website Paypal calc to confirm you calculated it right.
Yeah, the sites I checked said the fee for sending $7 should be about $0.50. So I sent an even $8 to make sure I didn't accidentally underpay. So I was surprised when the seller said I was still short by $1. i felt bad and sent $2 for the inconvenience. So confused.

Also, obviously I don't know the whole story, but it sounds like that seller took you for a ride. A $7 domestic transaction should never have $2 of fees associated with it.
This was kind of my conclusion too, but didn't want to say anything until I got more info.
While a small amount, the percentage is huge. If the item costed $7, and you paid $2 in fees, that's a whopping 28.57% in fees! No way in hell that's right. Imagine if the item costed more than that. The fees would be ridiculous at 28.57%.
I DM'd you. I was a bonehead and misread how the fees were deduced on my end. Sent you back the extra $ you sent me, too!
