Oh yeah, thats right, most of june is still technically spring
The game started to appear in some rating organizations, so that's quite plausible. No insider info – just a guess. They've got nothing else on the schedule for May. The month's totally empty. Why hold it until later when it would have to compete against Super Mario Maker 2 in June or the metric ton of releases in July?
I can hardly upgrade stuff anymore because everything costs 5+ diamonds which I can't seem to get in time.
I heard, it's just getting to those zones is what is difficult.Subsequent zones give 2, 3 and 4 diamonds at a time, so unlocking the next zone will speed up your progress towards new upgrades/unlocks.
So same deal as Hyrule Warriors, then? Published by a third party in Japan and by Nintendo internationally?https://www.spike-chunsoft.co.jp/necrodancer-zelda/

Nintendo in their latest Investors presentation said MarioMaker2(June 28th) is a spring release. So we can't be sure of anything when even the season's date is subject to change because ...nintendo.Spring release doesnt mean E3 stealth drop does it? Want to play this before i travel in May.
the game is self published in the WestSo same deal as Hyrule Warriors, then? Published by a third party in Japan and by Nintendo internationally?
Really? Huh. That's pretty cool!
New trailer from Japan's Indie World from earlier today confirms a June release date. E3 stealth drop confirmed?
Also shout-out to the person who called Gohmaracas
So I picked up the first Necrodancer game in preparation for this and so far I've learned two things...
2. I am very, very, VERY bad a keeping rhythm.
There is a character(the bard) that doesn't need you to keep a beat.Question: You need to beat all levels in a single run, right? It doesn't save a completion?
How many actual ablilities/whatever actually do carry on between runs. Not unlocking drops, but actual upgrades to your character or anything that survives runs? Only a couple, or half a dozen? 10+?
So I really have to keep the rhythm myself? I might tap out. Maybe.
I'm more looking forward to Links Awakening anyway. I'm interested to try LA and I like the graphical style.

The upgrades that always stay are from the shop in the top middle, stuff like more health.
I can't really remember off hand sorry.Ahh, okay neat. Thanks Brian Damage
I don't have the game. How many of such upgrades are there? A couple? Half dozen? 10+? Approx.

Probably not but i'll be checking anyway, i'd really like to play it like NOW
Oh god I just noticed this is coming out tomorrow. Pre-purchased and pre-loaded. I also noticed Crypt of the Necrodancer is 80% off sitting at $3.99...I have never played it and was planning to skip it and just enjoy Cadence. Do you guys think I should grab Crypt as well seeing as it's so cheap? I have a huge backlog...
Rhythm games have always been up my ally, paired with Zelda I can't imagine me not liking it. Do we know if Cadence is a roguelite? Isn't Crypt one?I'd say try one before buying the other, since if you don't like the whole gameplay concept then the other one will be a hard sell.

Combat disadvantage. I'd say try it out and if you can't hack it, go into fixed beat mode. So, how hard is this game to play if you cannot keep the beat? It's still fine, you just get less loot? Or are you at a combat disadvantage?
I assume the game is tough normally, and so a combat disadvantage would be pretty hard eh? Fixed beat mode? I heard something today about the enemies only moving when you move. Is that what you mean?Combat disadvantage. I'd say try it out and if you can't hack it, go into fixed beat mode.
