'Where's your passport?'

That's the chant that rang out from the student section at the conclusion Tuesday night of a high-school basketball game in central California.

According to the Santa Maria Times, fans from Righetti High, the losing side, directed the taunt at the team from rival St. Joseph, which includes a player from France and three players from Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory.

St. Joseph coach and athletic director Tom Mott played the incident down, when he was asked about it by the Santa Maria Times after the game.

"Kids are going to do whatever they're going to do and our guys enjoy playing in great atmospheres like this," he told the Santa Maria Times. "Anything our crowd or their crowd does is just part of the game."

Sounds like Trump asking for President Obama's birth certificate.

This kind of stuff used to be, and should be, frowned upon. Rallying around xenophoebia is just about the most hypocritical thing an American can do. The vast majority of the country has heritage elsewhere. This behavior is patently un-American.

Central cali valley is where you will see 'Pelosi is stealing our water' signs when you drive between LA and SF during the water restrictions during our droughts. Lol like their water doesn't come from SF and NorCal.

I wanna say kids these days but it's not just high school students, I'm sure college and even kindergarten students are bad. Some people in general are just mean. Feel sorry for the ones getting the chant, their parents and the principal who was rightfully upset.
