They just did it again in the Grand Finals, same map, down 236-120 against eUnited and they won 246-250 in the end, absolutely insane

The new updates sound good to me. The current tiers system is hot trash so a revamp of that into a more streamlined experience wounds excellent.

Wtf!. Just when I thought this game couldn't get any worse for spawn camping. I insta-died 40 times in that game. The other team rushed our spawn and were sat there using reactor cores that were frying us as soon as we spawned.
How can anyone have fun playing like this? Even if I was the team doing the stomping I'd be bored to tears.
It seems that the chance of getting an even match in this game is really rare.

I know TeePee, guy's one of the best players ever and was a key part of the coL/EG dynasty.
He's a beast. I've never seen anyone so confident in Blackout. He hears gunfire and he goes and hunts people down instead of running in the opposite direction (which is what I do, LOL). He regularly gets 15-20 kill games which is insane to me.
I don't know how streamers regularly find 20 people to kill. I usually drop in a hot spot, go towards any gunfights I see and I average around 9 or 10 kills (unless I get killed in the initial cluster). I have gotten a 19 kill game though. That's my record right now. Granted we play a lot of Quads which means our kills can be divided amongst everyone.

I don't understand these companies anymore. How have Activision greenlit this? This DLC hasn't been advertised at all, but Treyarch are going to just drop it into game like no big deal...
TeePee is insanely good at sniping and that contributes to the majority of his scores. If he gets an SDM with a 3X scope its RIP to everyone else. He also is very good at positioning and seeing people from super far away. His awareness is just crazy.
Also with armor repairs being added, I wonder if there should be a change to how much damage armor can take. I'd look at what the point of armor is and go from there. I think it absorbs too much damage right now which makes the gun fights feel less crisp than normal multiplayer. Is the intention of armor to provide counter to snipers because I there might be other ways to design armor to accomplish the same goal without ruining the close/mid range fights.

Already seeing complaining about the maps. Madagascar is too big, but you wanted bigger maps because of the sprint speed. Elevation is too uneven but you were tried of 3arch three lane map design.
How did I not hear about new maps? I pride myself in following CoD news and I heard shit all about this....weird
Nah it's not live, the download for the new maps went live early in some countries (Australia, New Zealand, maybe a few more) but have been pulled from the PSN Store again already.
You didn't hear anything about them because Activision and Treyarch never announced them. We got a leak via the CoD App 2 days ago but that's it.
Elevation seems cool but the second map looks almost unfinished? Also too orange.

Decided to buy 20 tiers of Contraband using my leftover CP from the deluxe edition + App login and while I have no doubt I will regret it come tuesday, I got the GKS variant and I really dig it and the reactive camo is nice!
Yeah the 2nd map is unfinished, you can tell by the mini-map. Apparently the map was already added with the recent big patch (guess they're planning on doing free weekends and stuff), probably need another patch today or tomorrow to finish it.
Like what level of the contraband? No idea. We haven't been told yet.

The only BR game I have played is PUBG early on...like before they even added the Desert map and even then, I've played maybe 10-15hours... Never really touched any other BR.

I'll wait to judge those maps but I'm not seeing any flow, seems like a lot of holes to camp in. Also, Nomad got the worst new costume with the Navy work uniform. The other stuff looks pretty cool though.
I only play solo and it's really good. Of course there is some frustrating matchmaking from time to time, but all in all I'd say you can do good as a solo player as long as you are willing to learn the game and don't mind to get your ass handed to you the first few hours.
I've played PUBG around 15 hours and Fortnite about 50 hours and Blackout is thr BR I like the most. Especially if you like the idea of Battle Royale and the arcade-style COD gameplay a bit slowed down.
And then you also get Zombies which is a mode I really like. If you are getting frustrated in multiplayer and blackout this is the right mode. Just slay some zombies and feel better immediately.
It's a really good package with lots of content. With the new patch dropping tomorrow that brings lots of new stuff, now is the best time to jump in.

Surprise was already somewhat gone with the characters and screen selection screen leaking a few days ago.
The armor repair system:
1 armor plate repairs 100 durability (armor 3 has 800 durability) after 2 seconds. Armor plates don't take any inventory space and are found in the map just like other items

There are 2 ways to get Armor Plates to repair your armor: as floor loot and by killing someone while destroying their armor in the progress of doing so. I've also seen someone on Reddit say that they've added elevators to Hydro Dam but I've seen no proof of this yet.
