Eh that's not a bad thing imo. Lots of crutch perks in the past, where there was no point of not using a select few because of how powerful they were. Now you can just roll with a couple perks and put more points in attachments or operator mods.
Start practicing opening a door, and tossing in a nade/flashbang/stun, etc.each fucking door i open in a house has a dude sitting in a corner
holy shit
Haven't used engineer much, maybe I'll start. Most of the perk 2 suck - maybe cold blooded on a class or 2, scavenger seems decent but I feel like you don't live long enough to reap the benefits of ammo, flak jacket is pointless imo since nades are non-existent, tac mask didn't seem that good - you still get flashed decently by the 9-bang. Perk 3 I feel like the sound is off so I don't know if Dead Silence is worth using or not, Ghost you have to be moving for like 3 seconds before it makes you invisible - I've been using it but people still know where I am a lot of the time due to shooting/a enemy teammate spotting me/or not moving for a couple of seconds.I feel like engineer is the only must have out of all of them.
Difference being BO3 required a maneuver beforehand to pull it off, and it consumed some of your fuel to do.That was a thing in BO3 too, you could jump, land your jump and time your button press perfectly and boost slide, you could also jump, land on a surface press the slide button and you would get a further boost.
Right out of spawn? Fuck no. BO4's maps are way too open in the spawns to not have spawn protection for at least several seconds. With a streak like this, you're guaranteed to be spawn trapped indefinitely until it's over if your team can't manage to spread out before they all die.
I don't have a single class that doesn't have Engineer. It's too powerful not to use. You get so much valuable information from it that I can't fathom not having it. My friends always ask me where enemy deployables are because they know I use it, and at this point I'm just stunned they haven't started using it, too.I feel like engineer is the only must have out of all of them.
I honestly don't understand how that streak is fun for anyone involved. Then again, that's most "haha I got a kill streak so now I can just push a button and randomly make people die how fun".
It's not enjoyable as a solo player. It's the first COD I have ever felt that way
I disagree completely.
I think the multiplayer in this game is inherently more tactical than it's been before, and therefore rewards better play. I've seen more situations where teams of randoms without headsets are moving in groups, and responding to situations instead of just storming out of cover to get shot, over the course of this weekend than in years of previous CoD games.
I'm not very good at the game at all, so my own performance is pretty bad, but I think there's a notable difference in the way many (not all, obvs) are approaching the multi this year.

Must be your connection. I haven't had a single issue in 4 days.Took me about 30 minutes to find a TDM game on MP (PC) Just now.
That kinda worries me

Pointe Du Hoc is a much worse map than Arsenal.Prestige 10 and then some in WW2, and no map in that game comes close to being as bad as Arsenal. Not a single one.
Agreed, even in TDM there is incentive to stick with your buddies (unless they go rushing into choke points getting sniped left and right of course), as a good chunk of the abilities directly help the team. See through walls, push out campers with Firebreak while others can maul down the running chicken, the 9-bang you can throw with your teammates immediately shooting once the enemies can't see shit, the shield that can be used as a diversion or even as a multi-person cover, give your teammates and yourself a spawning point near the action, give your buddies extra ammo... there's less instant gratification abilities and much more made to improve the teamwork. I don't necessarily run with others but I try to stay relatively close to their action to be able to use my abilities in the best possible way.
As a solo player myself i have few tips, honestly when you see your team being dominated by a large margin 10-15+ points just leave, the spawns break and flip constantly because of your team wiping out all the time, and in the end it's not worth your stress. It's not enjoyable as a solo player. It's the first COD I have ever felt that way.
I play just fine. I get kills, top of the leaderboard, but the team balancing is so that a solo player like myself is left out in the cold. I won a total of 13 games out of 40+. That simply isn't fun to me.
Every COD game before this I am positive in the W/L department. Every single one. And I played solo most of the time in them. This one is completely different. And it's a shame. Because yes, it is one of the best COD games in a while.
If you don't play solo.
Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask those who have upgraded to Windows 10 version 1809 if they can open the game bar on BO4?
Personally, it doesn't work. I have small light effects but the bar does not appear.
I would like to use it to record games.
laaaame
If you have the dark matter camo equipped your weapon goes nuclear apparently.
So is it just me or is Control easily the best mode COD has ever had? The only issue is the VAST amount of people that quit abruptly.
It's fast paced, objective oriented, and tactical all in one. I really love it.
All these problems I keep having on PC (stutter and freezing) really put me off though, Blackout is basically unplayable for me with 8gb of RAM. Anyone else in the same boat?
Coming in November for free, and supposedly set in Chernoybl.
It's good only if you're playing with a coordinated team with mics.
Pub games with randos its just immensely frustrating.

Oh my god, I love Chernobyl.
Yeah it's a really weird gun, they also seemingly nerfed it from the beta since it was frequently a one burst kill there and now it's frequently 2-3. Doesn't seem like any of the attachments will help make it more consistent either.Honestly don't know if I can recommend the ABR (tactical rifle), as it is so inconsistent in almost every gun fight.

Its in the fracking factory area :P
I'll be a bit more generous and say theres actually two buildings where this seems to be the case. The second one isn't 100% but the first area in there I mentioned is 100%.
West coast but I'm always on if you want to squad up.
Sweet. Hoping off for the night but I'll be on whenever most days until I get bored with it.
