I've been enjoying zombies and Blackout a lot. It's about as good as I expected it to be after the beta. I like the sprays lol.

Played some last night. Probably feels even better than the Beta. Only played regular MP and some Blackout. Won a game of blackout on my 4th go I think on duo's and doing well in the regular MP

Liking what I've played so far!

Sometimes I feel I'm the only one who just wants the good old COD multiplayer, not this Blackout shit.

The new healing system takes some time to get used to but it's an improvement over the simple regenerating health from the old days. The biggest thing I don't like is that when someone picks a specialist they're locked for the rest of the team. This isn't Overwatch!

The story, for what it is, is some hardcore graphic as fuck classic Black Ops shit so far.

Anyone else experiencing lots of stuttering?

Doesn't matter if it's multiplayer proper or Blackout, it chunks up seemingly randomly. This is on latest drivers with a 2080.

I really enjoy the tutorials for zombies. I played a ton of it at World at War on the OG map but fell off the wagon after that. Tried to play some of it in III but was way too complex and had no idea what I was doing.

Add me on PS4: MrConbon if anyone is willing to group up with a complete zombies noob.

Think it's worth it to get on PC for MP only? By this I mean no Battle Royale just good old Multiplayer.

Also, does it run alright?

Unless they plan on changing things, I'm disappointed there aren't any unlocks in Blackout other than those 4 characters. I would love to see some cosmetics each time you level up.

Having some pretty frustrating issues with desync despite consistent framerate and ping on PC.

The standard MP feels fucking great, like wtf man this is classic cod imo. Blackout is fun as well. But damn i am having a lot of fun playing call of duty and thats a weird thing for me to say in 2018

So with the driver installed, it runs so so smoothly on my 1080ti. It's like witnessing my own birth.

i5-6400/1060 6gb/8gb DDR4

Getting near flawless 60 fps with most settings on high on MP, zombies and Blackout.

Massive improvement over the Beta.

Getting a lot of stuttering with a i5-4590/1080. Messed around with the settings but nothing seemed to help performance to the point where I can't hold a locked 60fps.

Nothing, Arizona
Zombies has a balancing problem in regards to the new perk system, specific enemies are way too overpowered. Other than that, it plays great, great presentation, and a good load of customization as well.

What do you mean? There are 4 characters to unlock by just levelling, and then you have a ton of calling cards by completing specific things. Other characters are unlocked by completing specific character missions, Ajax is active and then you need to loot 3 armor shards and carry those around to a win for example.

I guess I'm comparing it to MP unlocks. In MP, they give you a little something every time you level up.

For Blackout, you only unlock something every 20 levels.

I get what you're saying, though.

Looks much nicer on PS4 (pro) than the Beta.

Runs like ass though. Servers are definitely struggling.

I've only tried multiplayer and the first character of Specialists HQ (or whatever it's called). First impressions are quite strange, outside of the actual gameplay it feels like a cheap Call of Duty knock off (small details of course but even the main menu feels cheap and it's not even centered on the screen - even the menu seems to say "it should be a campaign around here on this empty space but there isn't".

So many QoL options that were on previous games and are not there anymore. I really couldn't find a way to change my loadout on the lobby, you can't see previous history of your games except on the scoreboard after you complete a match, leaderboards I simply couldn't find them, etc. Maybe you can do all the stuff like previously, but unlike previous games the UX isn't obvious and everything seems to be hidden behind 3 button presses instead of an option on the menu. Call of Duty UX was always so simple and slick and this actually feels like a UX designed by Konami.

I didn't play the beta so the actual gameplay is new to me. I'm still getting used to the health system but I like the "hero" focus on the game. Graphics wise the game disappoints, it doesn't look good but at least it runs smoothly. There doesn't seem to be a lot of gadgets or scorestreaks flying around so it feels like an even bigger step than WWII to return to basics for Call of Duty.

What I really don't understand is that they made so many changes to the Call of Duty DNA but then still stick with outdated blocking options for the new guys. Why is Create a Class locked until rank 5? Why would you ever do that? And until you hit rank 2 you only have 1 loadout available with a gun with very high recoil? Why? Seriously why? Instead of trying to welcome new people, it seems that they want to destroy them and create an even bigger challenge for them.

I understand locking some guns for the "carrot on the stick", but if you are trying to emulate other games like Overwatch and Rainbow Six, then at least pay attention to the way they try to mantain some kind of level playing field.

Doesn't seem like a big issue. You can get to level 5 in a match or two. It's annoying but nothing that ruins the experience.

I agree that it's not a gamebreaker but what's point in forcing people to have a shitty experience for 3 or 4 matches? They are not learning anything by having their hands tied behind their back. I really don't get it besides the fact that "it was always this way since COD4".

Holy shit anyone else find the zombie cartoon mode. Gives it a cell shaded look almost looks like borderlands. It's under the graphic filter options.

It already ran pretty well on my system. But the new nvidia driver really made a noticeable improvement wow, now it is so smooth in normal multiplayer, havent tried Blackout yet. Looks really nice too maxed out at 1440p.

I finished all the specialists missions. The story makes no fucking sense.

Mason and Woods are trapped in a simulation? Goons are trying to kill Ruin and his team because they survived the trap in the opening? I'm assuming they're sent by Mason's daughter or something. I don't know. Seems completely unfinished and the line from this to Black Ops 3 isn't clear aside from the research Mason's daughter is doing. Is this meant to establish that the multiplayer battles are all just simulations for testing the bio-augmentations in her lab?

Had a quick blast on Blackout this morning before I dig in after work.

Need to get into the groove with my controls, sensitivity and timing for pick ups.

Nice that Ready to play as it downloads/installs is the Blackout in full.

Don't know what it is, but this is the most fun I've had on cod since mw2. It just feels right. These 3 hours flew by.

TDM is great fun and afterwards I played a game of Blackout and I did so much better than in the beta where I got destroyed. I think it's coming from Fortnite, I was better off going via TDM as that broke me in to the COD style of play.

I hoped online for a couple games and it seems like the starting weapons aren't nearly as good as they were in the beta , most people I've matched up with have been level 20+ and their guns just absolutely destroy me , I've been having to pick up weapons I find in the match

I had a quick run at Blackout this morning on PC. I have an i5-4690k, GTX 970, 8GB DDR3.

With all settings on high at 1080p I got a near-locked 60fps (drops to mid-50s on the descent and with smoke effects sometimes). Quite pleased overall, hopefully that holds up throughout! It uses about 2.7GB of VRAM and the frame-pacing is steady.

This evening I'll connect two Xbox controllers and try out the split screen (PC is connected to my TV as well as monitor). I'd love to see how that holds up (e.g. Black Ops 3 on PC split screen at equivalent settings gives me 55-60fps - hopefully Blackout mode in 4 isn't too much more demanding but we'll see).

Loving MP so far -- can't stop playing Control, I really like the pacing of that game type.

Want to try Blackout later. It looks great.
