While The Cartel isn't that good of a game, Gunslinger is fantastic and it's such a shame this got delisted for no particular reason. My assumption is that Ubisoft didn't renew the license but oddly enough Gunslinger is still up on PSN and XBL.

UPDATE: Gunslinger is no longer available on PSN and XBL but it's still up on Amazon for PS3 and uPlay for PC.

Shiiiiiiit. I downloaded the demo for gunslinger a couple of weeks ago, enjoyed it, then added it to my wishlist. Might still be available via Uplay though.

Gunslinger was so, so good. That's really unfortunate.

Hope they're brought back, seems random.

    Gunslinger is indeed great.

Could also try checking places like GMG and Amazon. They might still have keys, if they had any to begin with.

If they didn't own the license for Call of Juarez, why did they only take down half the franchise? The first two games are still up on Steam.

Ubisoft had been the publisher since the beginning.

I don't think they published the first game, but I'm pretty sure they did publish the second, so that's weird.

My Xbox One bros (current and future), don't forget that COJ: Gunslinger is both:

    - Amazing
    - Available via Backward Compatibility

Don't sleep on this one, it'll be gone for good if they don't relist since it didn't get a physical release.

To any publisher that’s planning on delisting a game: Give us a warning.

    Christ.

I’m glad that I already own Gunslinger.

Both on Uplay, and both currently on sale at 75% off...

EDIT: Correction, Gunslinger is there, Cartel is not.

The second one still has Ubisoft listed as the publisher, first one is all Techland. It may just be an IP thing, but it would be so weird for them to rescind their rights and basically delete their own games from digital storefronts.

Did Techland not work on these two? Is that why they're being taken down?

Weird given that the first two games in the series are still on Steam.

75% off? I wonder if they're taking off UPlay then. I remember something similar with Alan Wake via Steam. Big sale then poof.

I picked up Gunslinger on a whim in the Ubisoft Steam sale a few weeks ago. Damn shame for those who hadn't had a chance to buy it, hopefully it will be brought back.

Yep. Some delisted games are only worth getting for completion/rarity, but Gunslinger is absolutely worth going out of your way for to find a key.

Shame Techland got so busy with 'Dead Island', I'd love another 'Gunslinger'. I actually day 1'd 'The Cartel' on the strength of it... That was disappointing.

Any reason why it was delisted?

Ubisoft or tech land has rights? Any chance of coming back or should I try getting Cartel off of GMG which has it for $10

I has some good concepts and ideas but it is just a bad game ultimately, i was really bummed out by it, call of juarez and call of juarez gunslinger where so good, i hope techland goes back to the franchise at some point.

The Cartel isnt awful, it was designed as a coop game and it shows if you try to play it on your own.

Someone needs to get in touch with Techland and ask them about the delisting.

I feel like I am one of the two people who enjoyed Cartel. Sure it isn't amazing, but after the hate it got I expected it much worse. The graphics and gunplay were enjoyable.

Gunslinger is unapologetically great though. Hopefully they add the games back after they resolve whatever issues they have.

That's too bad. Gunslinger is a pretty decent game. Cartel wasn't very good, but it was at least somewhat enjoyable.

Definitely get Gunslinger, one of the best FPS games ever made. It is like Red Dead Revolver blended with The Club but as an FPS western game.

Man, I’d been sitting on Gunslinger forever, bought it near release due to the positive impressions. I should go dig into that to take advantage.

Why does this almost always happen without warning? Surely sales would really spike if they told people

    Do they have cartel?

On sale preferably- don't want to spend 10 bucks lol
