Tired of "Shitbag"? OK OP, I get you. I try to vary up my insults, like, "Fuckface McToupee", "The Casino Bankrupter", and "Slumlord Millionaire"
So he's called a shitbag days, sometimes weeks apart
He's called Trump a lot more on the daily on Era
It's the latter. Is calling him a shitbag something that actually makes anyone laugh? Probably not, but it clearly gives some small catharsis to the people that choose to do it, and well, he is absolutely a shitbag so who the hell cares. The idea that someone would be offended enough to make a thread over it, to dare to tone police others for crudely insulting Trump of all people given all the shit he's pulled, it's utterly baffling. OP frankly needs to get over it.

I for one can't imagine the person who unironically calls him 'President Trump' in normal conversation and has been paying at least a little bit of attention the last few years. I know i know nobody like that.
Maybe he should stop doing things that would make a lot of people want to call him a shitbag. This is not because of a mere difference of opinion here. His administration is objectively awful. He doesn't deserve any respect because he hasn't done anything to earn it.

But why? You still haven't adequetly explained why. You think some moderate will see people being mean to Trump and vote Republican? I mean I guess kids and cages, corruption, sucking up to dictators, disregard for the constitution, the law, the free press (1st amendment) and his near daily racial tirades wasn't enough to sway them.

But in general, I agree. There are a lot of responses in here that validate what you're getting at. It's sad though, as it shows how toxic Trump is as a human. He brings the worst out of people.

I can understand, OP. I mostly find it cringe inducing seeing people refer to Trump with these silly names. Similar with people who refer to GAF as "the old site/place". But to each their own, just suck it up.
Why would you list all of Trumps strengths and most respectable traits as some kind of negative?
Isn't that all reason for showing more respect, not less?

Calling him anything other than his name sands the edges off of who he is and what he does, relegating him to a joke. It's immature and helps sanitize the actual danger Trump wields. Look him in the face and call him by his true name, like responsible adults who understand the gravity of the situation.
